I seriously love this tool!
I bought this after seeing some strong recommendations on Reddit. It's amazing! I have been using it basically daily as a grooming tool while gentling my mustang. I have had it about 9 months and I am just now replacing it. It's starting to fall apart, but I also know that the barn chickens have gotten into the shed and pecked at it from time to time...so it might last longer for you. I usually go over my horse with a curry comb, then use the Tiger's Tongue, then he is ready to go! Works great on both winter and summer coats. Gentle enough not to irritate a sensitive horse, and strong enough to remove mud and sweat. Easy to use, easy to clean (I usually bang it against the fence, and occasionally take it home for a wash in the sink). This will be a staple in my grooming kit for as long as they keep making it!

A must have for equine care!
Tiger's Tongue is unlike any other grooming tool I've used. It's soft and pliable, much like a natural sea sponge, but it has just the right amount of scrubbing power to effectively remove dirt, dust, and loose hair from my horses' coats. It's incredibly gentle on their sensitive skin, and they seem to love the sensation of being groomed with it. What sets this grooming tool apart is its versatility. Not only does it excel at cleaning and massaging the coat, but it's also fantastic for cleaning tack and other horse equipment. It's like having a 2-in-1 tool that simplifies my horse care routine. The Tiger's Tongue is also durable and easy to clean. It withstands frequent use without showing signs of wear and tear, and it's simple to rinse and maintain its cleanliness. I've found that using this groomer regularly has not only improved the condition and shine of my horses' coats but has also strengthened our bond through the massaging sensation they clearly enjoy. Epona Tiger's Tongue Horse Groomer Scrubber Massager is a must-have for every horse owner. Its unique texture, versatility, and durability make it an essential tool in my grooming kit. It has simplified and enhanced the grooming process for my horses, and I couldn't be happier with the results. If you want the best for your equine friends, don't hesitate to invest in this fantastic grooming tool.

Great to remove dirt and hair with ease
This sponge seems to work very well! It is soft enough to wrap around legs and bony areas without discomfort. It is very easy to hold and use to remove hair and dirt easily. The sponge is also easy to grip and covers a good size area.

A must have!
This is an awesome item. Best for getting all the dust and dirt off. Makes it a quick groom when you don't have time to spend on long grooming sessions. While we love long grooming sessions sometimes, we need a quick fix that really works and this does it. Our horse loves it and seems to feel good when we use it on him as he drops his bottom lip and falls asleep, lol. Works on all hair types and hair lengths. It also picks up a lot of the excess hair when shedding. Easy to clean too. Fits perfectly in a grooming box.

It’s a brush alternative
Great product to clean horse instead of a brush. Easier to hold for me. Gets a shiny coat on short hair…

Great product for horse grooming.
I love this product. I actually use it grooming my horses every day in place of the brush. It gets old hair, dirt, grime off or their bodies better than a brush. This is my fourth one. They will wear down after a while but they last forever. My horses love it when I scratch their underneath with it. I'll keep buying these.

Scrubbing sponge for grooming
Well I have used this for awhile. It is good for scrubbing and washing. You can use it for sweat, but a sweat scraper works better. It is good for tough dirt and stains. It is pretty good sized. I think it will last a long time. I have other grooming tools that do a better job of shedding. Not great at hair removal. It is easy to use and dries quickly. It does not work very well on dried mud. It does great at scrubbing bucket and stock tanks.

Perfect for my ticklish OTTB
My thin-skinned OTTB would swish his tail & stomp with every other brush I've tried. He loves rolling in the mud so he gets brushed a LOT. I finally found this groomer and.... no more stomping! He finally lets me brush anywhere without a fuss. This is the ONLY one he's okay with on his belly, quarters, and face. I recommend this brush for short-coated horses. It's like a micro scraper for the mud & dirt on the outer surface of the coat. For my OTTB, that's enough. For a thick coated horse, you can use the brush this way but you'll still end up needing a curry or shedding blade at times. It's not designed to last forever. It breaks down with use over time like a magic eraser. I've had mine for a few months, use it almost daily, and it still works fine. So you shouldn't need to replace too often. I recommend adding one to your daily grooming tools. You'll use it more than you think.
