I could only do one car clay bar through to final polish in a weekend. I’d end up tired, sore, and for weeks I would still be finding wax in small crevices. I recently switched brands to Griot’s ceramic line (a review for another day), and bought this random orbital polisher and related Griot’s 5” pads. It did take me a bit to get used to, as I experimented with different speeds and amounts of wax. Wax on pad or car? The orbiter’s battery life (Milwaukee genuine 6.0amp) was terrific—did my track car in one charging. It wasn’t too heavy, but heavy enough to help me with the task. I did not see any swirls or any patterns left at all, and I did have to work some spots harder than I wanted. I tried to use the right pads for each situation, and swap them out as needed. I have not found as much wax in crevices, and I definitely am liking the output. Buttery smooth! All in all, a solid power tool that will be VERY well used. Meets my expectation of Milwaukee quality.
