What age is recommended for size large?

My Grandson is 7 and we measured his head according to the size chart and ordered medium. Hopefully it fits perfect when he opens it along with a dirt bike Christmas Eve. We keep a growth chart of the kids and his Dad said let’s measure your head as well, so he is very unsuspecting of the gift.

Buying for my nephew who’s out of state, his head measures at 22 inches but I want to get him one he can grow in to

I bought for my grandson. I believe I ordered a med but it was last year and I forget. It fit but alittle tight. There is a size chart I believe. His head was 22 also

can you mountain bike on it

Yes, but it will be a little heavy and awkward. It is perfect for ATV use.

Any thoughts on ventilation? We’ll be doing desert riding.

Good quality. Good fit for our 7 year old grandson. I'm not sure about ventalation for dessert riding. We live in western Washington state.
