These tamarind bites are so good! If you love that sweet-tangy flavor with a little kick, you’ll be hooked. I bought these as a birthday present for my cousin. At the time, no one was selling them and Costco did not know when they would be back in stock. It was worth paying this price because it made him so happy. The taste is a combination of sweet and salty. The perfect blend to satisfy your tangy hankering. It's not too spicy but enough spice to want to wash it down with some tequila (yum).

Updated Jan 23 Review. My 2nd bag from Amazon is amazing. The expiration date is Jan 25, 2024. It is a huge difference between my first bag from Amazon. I like this lot/batch much more. It is fresh and tangy … simply put even more addicting. January 3rd Review: I ordered these on Amazon because Costco is no longer selling them and these fruit candies are addicting. The product is not as fresh as when you buy these from Costco. However they do satisfy my craving and because they are not as fresh tasty… I could kick my craving. The ones I bought from Costco in December has an expiration of Jan 25, 2024 and these from Amazon have an expiration of Dec 30, 2023. The expiration print on the Amazon is different from the print from Costco. In the pictures, the empty bag is from Costco, and the full bag is from Amazon purchase. In terms of value for your money, the bulk weight of this product is still cheaper than buying smaller portions of tamarind fruit candies that include seeds. Although, this purchase on Amazon is more than double the cost compared to Costco’s price.

This is so yummy!! Just the right amount of spicy, sweet and sour!! Great for my Indian palette!! Went with the reviews and loved it!!

I am addicted to these! I can’t stop eating them and have them in an air tight jar at my office and at home so I can grab a few at a time. I’m sure I have eaten more than the serving size each time I reach in that jar. And that’s several times a day! I have eaten Tamarind candies as a child and have been searching for a long time for the ones I used to eat. Then I happen to come across these at Costco (who no longer carries it in stock) but found it on Amazon. I purchased the first bag to see if it was similar to what I had been searching for. I have to say, it is so much better! As I said…I can’t stop eating these!

I’ve bought chili tamarind bites “Nutty & Fruity” first time from Costco. Then I couldn’t find it in Costco anymore so I bought it from Amazon. My first order was good and exactly the same what I had it from Costco but my second time purchase which unfortunately I trusted the site n bought couple of pack packs is not the same quality. The packaging is same but it’s no where close to what I have used. Instead of “chili” it sweet n have completely different taste. I m very disappointed. Would never buy this from Amazon.

Ordered the Nutty Fruity Tamarind bites on March 28 with an ETA of April 8. At first I was hesitant to order due to the long delivery time, it arrived today April 2. That's amazing! The product is moist and yummy with a best buy date of 02/2025. The seller carefully packaged the product in another clear bag to protect it and shipped it in a sturdy box so it further protects it from being damaged. I appreciate the handling and delivery.
