UnUN Camera Quick Shoe Set

I have a very old version of this same device from my film days which just carries the label 'Camera Quick Shoe'. I've used this original for years and found it ideal for my purposes. I needed an extra base so I could have one on my table top tripod and one on my monopod (I don't like to carry a regular tripod and avoid it if at all possible). The question on my mind was whether or not the old and new would interchange, but they do. This device is very well engineered and made without being unnecessarily bulky. The vendor's listing said only one in stock with no notation about future availablility so one has to consider that if purchasing one with the idea of purchasing additional for a system in the future. Also, only one vendor listed and carried this item, so I don't know if that vendor has a source for it or what I bought was NOS. If it is out of production that is too bad, because it is just the right tool for the job.

I've been using this same or identical style of quick release for ...20..25 or more years now. Actually I bought 3 of them back in those old Kodachrome days. Saves a lot of time during set-up no matter what your doing. I do most of any shooting with a tripod of some sort and whip that up, whip the camera, snap on, snap off!Shooting a wedding or just travel photography, snap on, snap off. You just look good doing that while others are fumbling. So I have integrated their usage with flash and multiple camera bodies.So one day I left a tripod on the rear of the truck. While I hate losing anything, losing the tripod meant I lost one of these bases to this system. Terrible!So, found these on Amazon, bought one and they fit my older ones perfectly and visa versa! Bought 4 more.FYI: I have bought a few new cameras lately and I ordered additional quick releases for each. Received great delivery time on each order.

This is a very handy gadget to have to quickly attach/detach your camera from a tripod or monopod. I had an old one a friend gave me years ago but lost it, so I was glad to find out that they still make them.

Quick, easy and light. Holds equipment securely without any shake. Very good product and worth every penny.

This Quick Shoe Release is about as handy as a pocket on a shirt. Be advised that not all quick releases are alike,use only the UN manufactured one not the look alike Taiwan made one...they look the same but do not play nice together..

With this item you don't have to worry about screwing your camera on the tripod or your camera flash bracket.It takes less than 5 seconds and you can put it on your tripod, flash bracket or whatever you want to put it on.I thought they had stop making this item and today found it on amazon. Trust me get it.
