Zozoma Fresh Red Habanero Chili Peppers 2lb Hot and spicy with vitamin C and potassium

I am so pleased with the quality and flavor of these peppers. The color was intensely red and they were fresh. I am not surprised to learn when I went back to reorder (the next day) that they are no longer in stock. They looked exactly like they do in the photo.

Arrived late and 1/3 of them were rotten. Would not buy again.

The peppers I ordered arrived promptly and in perfect condition. They are very ripe and have a very fruity flavor. I remove the seeds and webs to enjoy more of the flavor without too much heat. I've been able to freeze them whole. They defrost a bit soft but the flavor is intact.

I needed habanero peppers and could not find any in the county. So, I tired Amazon. I read the reviews, and have to say I was not overly hopeful... Anyway, I ordered the peppers since I had no other options on a Tuesday. The peppers were received Thursday morning (I did spring for the express delivery). There were 80 peppers in the two pounds ordered. Of the 80 peppers, 79 were perfect. The only thing bad was that one pepper was split open, and I may be responsible for that. Great product and good service.

You could smell the heat without opening the box. I was disappointed when I did open the box to find that 1/3 of the peppers where smashed, and soft. I had to throw them away. The box was wet on the outside from the pepper juices, it was wrapped in tape, but I feel the peppers themselves could have been better packaged inside the box.

About 1/3 were rotten.

$28 for 2 lb of habaneros comes out to be about 86¢ per ounce. My local grocery store can't come close to that price. Most of the peppers came bright and fresh. There were a few bad ones, but that's to be expected. Shipped fast and arrived speedily. These aren't as hot as ghost peppers or scorpion peppers, etc. But for the price, you can't beat it.

The habanero pepper I received is not like the previous ones at all. It was NOT PEPPER HOT AT ALL and DID NOT have the unique habenero pepper scent that the previous one had. I cannot use it. I have thrown it away. I need an explanation cuz I have wasted my money on this.
