Nice quality and great as a gift!
We received this as a gift for my 2.5 year old daughter for Christmas. She has a variety of make-up sponges, brushes etc. but I'm not a fan of some of what she currently has because it's mostly leftover "real" stuff (which isn't made for kids, so not great in terms of child proof safety!). This little set comes in a cute/convenient pouch and she can carry it around and play with her dolls (or watch mom in the morning) and it has a nice variety. She likes it. I like it. Win win.

Could be better... but good gift
Overall it's a good concept... we got this for our daughter 5 who has been asking for makeup. She loves it don't get me wrong has been playing multiple times with it. She has trouble though and gets frustrated because several of the pieces the powder and blush are very hard to open. Also I had to buy her brushes because the brushes included bristles were hard and scratchy. First use she scratched her face with them. I like the foam used for the pretend makeup and that is great. But I'd love to see something else besides two almost similar looking shadows. Only one color is different in the two options.

Great Hit!
My niece LOVED her make-up set! She is 3 and loves to play with real makeup so I didn't think this would fool her. I was wrong and she has been playing with it for months! The bag broke and I ended up having to buy her a new one but the makeup set was very nice. I would give this 5 stars but the bag only lasted a few weeks. Removed 2 stars since that's a big part of the gift.
