Bad explanation for Writing Section, confusing questions, thus a bad reflection of the real test
Despite the level of difficulty in the reading section, the book offers terrible explanations, especially for the writing section. "Grammatically correct and make sense" are found all over the place. If it simply "make[s] sense", why do we need to look at the explanation?Moreover, the questions are usually off and do not reflect the real tests. There are always some questions in every practice test that are badly written and just try to confuse students, rather than encourage them to logically work to find the correct answer.

Lets be honest: Barron's a great publisher but when it come to SAT practice, it is lagging behind. These are just too hard compared to the real SAT. If you must, borrow it from your public library but don't buy it.

Wrong answers
Some of the answers are just plain wrong for simple algebra. Very basic algebra. Like Practice test 2 #36. Who proofreads this stuff?
