Eliminates pain from a firm knee pad on knee scooter
I purchased a KneeRover scooter for kids/small adults due to a broken ankle. My boot has an air pump button right on the front so it digs into my leg when I place my knee on the knee scooter pad. The knee pad of the scooter is firm and doesn’t have a lot of give to it. So I purchased this sheepskin knee pad cover hoping it would fit and be cushy enough to eliminate the pain of the air pump button digging into my leg. It works great!! Fits the knee pad (would fit any knee scooter I think), doesn’t slide around, and most importantly it is cushy and comfortable!!

Five Star Sheepskin Cover!!
This is the most comfortable sheepskin cover ever!! It was easy to put on and it fit perfectly!! I love the 2" of foam - other seat covers do not have that! I bought this because the seat of my knee scooter is very uncomfortable and caused so much pain to my knee. This kneepad has made a HUGE difference - it's soft and does not cause the knee pain that I was experiencing before using it. It does shed some but not that bad. It does get a little matted down but all you have to do is fluff it back up and it's fine. It can make your knee/leg warm - I sweat easily so for somebody else it might not seem that bad. I highly recommend ordering this! #happycustomer

Easy to fit for a more comfortable ride but does compress quickly
Fits my Knee Rover well and helps keep my knee from getting so sore or from developing a rough spot. It was easy to put on and stays in place even on some rougher cobblestone pavement. I deducted one star because it does compress fairly quickly and the faux sheepskin mats down to look pretty sad. I am only 2.5 weeks from surgery and it's not like I have used the scooter 24/7. I expected it to stay nicer looking for at least a month or two. Still, better than not having it and absolutely better than the much firmer black faux leather one. Cooler on my knee too!

Get it
I had surgery for plantar fasciitis in 2019. I bought this cover with the KneeRover all terrain heavy duty scooter. I knew during recovery I would want to be able to do all kinds of activities and get around comfortably. This duo delivered. Shopping trips, multiple trips to Disneyland, walking the dog, absolutely worth every penny. Fast forward to 2023, husband has had several serious procedures that we weren’t expecting and has put major mileage on this thing. It’s still delivering comfort after heavy use and runs through the washing machine (hang it to dry). If you are in need of a mobility device, spend the extra money and get a scooter with knobby rubber tires and this sheepskin pad. You will 100% be more comfortable than trying to get around on one of those things with the hard plastic wheels. It’s worth every penny.

Comfortable
Great product for knee scooter. Takes the pain away when you’re stuck riding one for two months.

KneeRover
I am so thankful that I had this scooter. I was non-weight bearing after foot surgery for 10 weeks and I could not have managed without this scooter. Very durable, loved the purple color. I bought a cover for the pad so that my knee was more comfortable. I never spent more than 30 minutes at a time on it as my knee would ache a bit but that is not a function of the quality of the scooter. Very easy to clean the wheels with wet paper towels if I had to go out. The basket on the front was very handy. Did not make marks on my wood or tile floors. Mobility is the key thing with this scooter.

Poor fit, caused skin reaction — just not a good experience.
I hate to have to leave a poor review, but I really did not have a good experience with this product. I ignored the negative comments and ordered this when I got the KneeRover scooter thinking it would probably be just fine, but I had the same problem that others did in that it caused an itchy rash on my knee after just a couple days! And I was always wearing sweats (no bare skin contact) when I used it. The cover also didn’t fit the pad on the KneeRover Jr scooter quite right (close, but not 100%), and that made me less stable when scooting around as it had a tendency to slip a bit. Overall, it just wasn’t worth it, and as soon as I started noticing red bumps on my knee and itching, I just chucked it and used the scooter with no extra padding (bumps and itching went away within a day). And now I believe the other reviewers! So, while it’s not super pricey, if I could go back in time, I’d have to give it a pass. Likely there are better solutions out there. I’d say even try the scooter without anything first to see if you even need it (disclosure: I’m a small person, so could be that since I’m lightweight, I did not need any extra padding on the knee pad?) Anyway, if you need more padding, try something else, not this. (The KneeRover scooter itself gets five stars, though!)

Impossible to get dry!
I had major foot surgery this summer which requires me to be totally non weight bearing for 8 weeks with just progressive weight bearing for a few weeks after that. I bought a KneeRover KneeCycle to get me through this period. I've had both knees replaced in the past, so I also bought this pad/cover to make it more comfortable for my metal knee. The first 6 weeks of using the pad were ok. It does somewhat defeat the contour of the knee pad so you don't have a nice of a groove to put your leg in, but that just requires paying attention to how you are placing your leg of the scooter. Once your leg is in position, the foam of this pad collapses to fit the contour and your leg stays in place, at least mine does. But after 6 summer weeks, the cover was getting a bit grimy. Two days ago I hand washed it as directed and squeezed it to get as much of the water out as possible before air drying it on our drying rack. 24 hours later the cover was still wet, not damp, but WET. I put it in the dryer on low for 2 hours total, then placed it back on the rack overnight. I thought it was dry this morning, but on using it both my leg and the scooter's knee pad were wet within a couple of minutes. Back in the dryer for another hour. Still getting enough water out to soak the knee of my pants after that. It's in the dryer for yet another hour now. After suffering through a couple of errands without that additional padding for my metal knee, I am very unhappy with how impossible this has been to get dry. BTW, it can get quite humid where we live, but the indoor humidity is only 50% right now so there is no environmental reason for this not to dry.

Another rubbish product!
I have been using this knee pad for about two weeks and it’s on its way out already. It’s certainly doesn’t hold the memory foam memory & can’t see it lasting much more than another two weeks. Waste of money would not recommend.

Glad I accessorized!
Have really appreciated this sheepskin seat cover for the knee rover. I had a previous injury with a new scar on my shin and found it a little touchy against the vinyl seat of the knee rover. This adds about an inch of height, no shearing, is memory foam and quite comfortable. Just remember to adjust your knee rover height or wear a bigger heel on good leg or your hips will be uneven from initial set-up.
