I LOVE Hoover , the suction power , the quality and the affordability of their products are amazing. I have THICK carpet and a cat. I bought the previous model of this vacuum and it lasted over 5 years before I gave it away thinking I could buy something better. While owning it I did have an issue with the vacuum but since it was under warranty , Hoover honored the warranty and I was able to send me a new vacuum days later. Hoovers customer service team is always kind and helpful. I have tried the shark lift away vacuum on my carpet and after it still felt and looked dirty, plus the suction wasn’t very powerful. I then bought a Hoover wind tunnel vacuum with lots of reviews. It felt cheap, the suction power was okay, and it had cord rewind but that was instead of a filter which wasn’t a fair trade in my opinion. And then I saw this model which was a newer version of my 5 year vacuum. I was skeptical because of the reviews but I’m glad I tried it. It is lightweight but not cheap. It’s very easy to use and functional with the swivel base. The suction power is amazing, plus it comes with a lot of attachments which is nice. I did a small area of my carpet and attached photos to show just how much it was able to pick up. For reference I hadn’t vacuumed in a week and before that I had used the shark and other Hoover vacuum.

It woks very nicely. Cleans as described by the manufacturer. I highly recommend this hoover vacuum cleaner

I purchased this May 14, 2025. Today is April 9, 2026. The suction was unbelievably good. Last week I couldnt get it to power on. I dont want to have to buy another one but it looks like I may habe to. So, the vacuum is mighty but died on me almost 1 year later.

I am a loyal Hoover vacuum consumer, and someone who rarely writes reviews. However, I need to warn people about how terrible this vacuum performs. Although it has pretty good suction and is easy to use, this vacuum has broken down 4 times in 5 months. As other reviews have written, the vacuums belt breaks and the head no longer spins. I fixed it, it just needs to be put back on, but you have to take the entire bottom of the vacuum apart to do so. It is quite a pain. And it is not like I am vacuuming high pile carpet or going from one type of carpet to another. This happens on low pile carpet. The belt just falls off, it begins to smell like it is burning and then you see the head is no longer spinning. I first reached out to Amazon, and they did help by giving me a credit to buy a new belt. However, they won’t return it. I then reached out to Hoover customer service that states it is 24/7 but the bot I was chatting with said there were no agents available and I had to send them a message. At this point, I have not received a response to my request for refund, So unless you want to lose $100+, and get no help with the issue. DON’T BUY THIS VACUUM!

I clean for a living. I've used many vacuum types. I liked the Dyson ball. With the Dyson switching from vacuuming the floors to using the attachments was easy breezy. This vacuum is easy breezy too, but a lot less expensive on the wallet. The head doesn't swivel quite like the Dyson, but it does some. When removing the hose to use the on board attachments it is so easy to replace it back into the vacuum because the hose is soooo flexible. Some vacuums have stiff hoses making it a chore to attach it back after using the attachments. I like that there aren't bags to replace. Just empty the canister. The canister can hold a lot of debris and it's clear. When you need to give it good cleaning it's easy because you can see exactly where all the dusty dirt is. I suggest getting a set of long handled brushes of various sized brush heads. Larger heads can clean the sides inside of the canister. Smaller can get into the tighter places. I love this vacuum. It's so user friendly....

This vacuum is advertised as a hard floor cleaner as well as carpet. There is, in fact, a dial selector on the vacuum head for hard floor, however, the brush roll remains on with hard floor selected on the dial. There is no switch that controls the brush roll on this unit, so it is always on. I tried using this model on laminate flooring, and the brush roll is a hinderance as it scatters any debris across the floor. On a positive note, the vacuum did work well on area carpets.

Well, our vacuum went belly up and having just completed a renovation, vacuuming was a must prior to cleaning the carpet. Purchased this and woweee...the suction is phenomenal! Makes me wonder what our old vacuum was even doing...lol The old one was vacuuming some but it definitely does not compare to this one. When I vacuum it doesn't take long for my back to hurt, so my husband usually vacuums. But to his surprise and joy, I did not experience any back pain while vacuuming. lol This vacuum is lightweight, maneuverable and gets the job done! Hoover has a great reputation and I do see why. Would definitely purchase this product again.

I was just looking for a vacuum to replace my Dyson that had the powerhead fail. Yes, I was shopping for price and was not expecting a miracle worker. This Hoover machine is by far, the best vacuum I have ever owned. Lightweight, efficient, easy to move around and powerful. I'm amazed that every time I vacuum how great a job it does.

Simple to use. Flexible

I purchased this vacuum in September 2024. It worked well initially, but in May 2025 a piece broke off the base underneath the vacuum. Since then, the suction has never been the same. We have tried gluing the piece back on multiple times, but it continues to break. The vacuum is also quite heavy, making it harder to maneuver than expected. Another frustration is that cleaning it thoroughly is not straightforward. I actually had to watch a YouTube review to figure out how to properly clean and maintain it because the instructions weren’t very helpful. For the price, I expected better durability and easier maintenance. Unfortunately, after less than a year of use, the broken part and reduced suction have left me disappointed.
