Anders als das andere Rezensenten empfinden, ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis meines Erachtens bei dieser Uhr hervorragend. Diese Uhr ist eine Hommage an die hochwertige mechanische Uhr IWC Portugieser Chronograph, für die man über 8000 Euro berappen muss. Sie ist für eine Quarzuhr hochwertig verarbeitet und hat ein gutes japanisches Werk. Zifferblatt und Zeiger sind sehr schön gestaltet, natürlich sind die Zeiger nicht gebläut, sondern lackiert. Der Farbton ist aber gut getroffen. Sie ist nicht mit einem Saphirglas, sondern mit Kristall-Mineralglas ausgestattet. Das kann man aber in dieser Preisklasse nicht erwarten, da ein gutes Saphirglas alleine schon mit ca. 100 Euro zu Buche schlägt. Falls das Quarzwerk einmal ausfällt, kann es jeder Zeit durch ein gleichwertiges ersetzt werden. Außerdem hat der Name Stührling eine lange Schweizer Uhrmachertradition.

UPDATE - Stuhrling replaced the watch free of charge through their RMA process The second hand fell off of the watch after wearing it for a day. As beautiful as the watch is to look at, I still need a watch that tells time.

Almost immediately after giving this watch as a gift the second hand fell off… then not 24 hours later I watch as one on the keys on the side fell out of the watch and bounced across the floor. Of course upon an hour or so trying to tinker the watch back together we realized this is clearly a factory issue. Looks like the company wants the watches to just appear to be a quality product. Save your money and get something for reliable like a Casio, fossil, feice or citizen.
