Great Resin Kit For Beginners!
This is my first time using resin and wasn’t even sure if resin would work on my charms project. The kit arrived on time and was easy to assemble. The UV light was surprisingly small but it’s not like I needed anything larger so I’m considering it a positive for ease of storage. The resin is ready to use and requires no mixing. I wasn’t sure how to use the “tools” so I opted for a tiny paintbrush and just dipped it directly into the bottle. I cycled the charms 3 times because I resin painted the charms in stages. It still felt a little tacky but after sitting and airing out about 5 minutes, the tackiness was gone. A couple of charms were sacrificed trying to get the method down so the resin wouldn’t pool; that’s why I ended up using the UV light in 3 cycles per charm. The included mat was a HUGE bonus! It provided enough coverage for my workspace. The smell is not pleasant at first but that’s to be expected. Personally, I think this is a great kit for a beginner.

This stuff is amazing!
This is my first time using UV resin and I love it! I followed the directions to a t and made this experiment pendant. I first did a small layer of resin and added gold leaf. Then I dried it for 2 minutes. Then I did another layer with glitter. Dried for 2 minutes and did one more layer of glitter and gold leaf just playing around. Dried perfect each time and I remembered to flip it over and dry that back too. It turned out beautiful and fully cured. There weren't many bubbles at all! It says to pour very close to the mold and I did that each time. I didn't need to warm the bottle in hot water. It's so easy! The resin does have a bit of an odor so I cracked a window open a tiny bit. This was a perfect starter kit and there is a lot of resin! The lamp works great! You can't charge it and have to plug it in to your own brick. The mat is great and so are the cups and stir sticks. It wasn't messy at all. I never got any on my fingers. I highly recommend this! I see people angry about the lamp being small but it works great so who cares. I actually like it small because I don't have much room on my desk. I'm excited to play around some more and I'll post more pictures later. It's so fun and easy and makes beautiful jewelry. I'll never use epoxy resin for jewelry again! Follow the simple directions and you will make great pieces.

Simple to use Resin. Great for the whole family
Love it. Makes it so easy and fast. No messy mixing or long set times. This worked perfectly for filling some holes on some large wooden dice I was making. No set without the UV light gives me plenty of time to pour without a know time limit. Sets fast with the included UV light. Great buy for the price. Very happy.

Such a good little kit! Use it constantly!
UV resin is one of my new favorite hobbies and this kit is to blame. (It's been over 6 months and my ADHD brain has not moved on from it... It's a keeper!) Honestly I only bought this kit because I desperately needed a cheap UV lamp and FAST. I did one of those Rainbow High doll crafts with my daughter that contain resin and the light they provided just wasn't strong enough no matter how long we tried to cure it, and it was the middle of winter, not a lot of sun to help either. But I'm so happy that happened because before my only experience was with slow curing epoxy resin, and that really limited what I could do with this medium. This kit unlocked a world of possibilities for me. With this kit I can make really intricate designs by curing as I go, securing little areas in place with only a few seconds of UV. That could be said of any working UV resin materials of course, but this was the perfect combination of starter items. I use the provided silicone tools constantly, clean up is a breeze now. I don't have to use as many disposable cups and such. Just cure anything extra and throw it out. The little scoop and pointy tools are GAME CHANGERS for real. Love the silicone mat way more than I thought I would too, sometimes I use resin to fix random things that hot glue isn't strong enough for, and it's the perfect thing to catch any mess. I'm serious, this kit saved our cheap plastic banana stand from the landfill lol. It is of course, quite a messy craft in general, and potentially hazardous. Uncured resin is not healthy to touch or inhale. Something I've learned is that if you get resin on your skin the correct thing to get it off is actually oil. Like, cooking oil, vegetable oil. Then use dish soap to wash that off. But really, do your best not to actually come in contact with it. I've heard of people developing allergies with severe reactions over time. A very slight issue I've had, and ymmv, is that often I still need to let stuff cure in the sun after using the UV lamp to get rid of any leftover tackiness. But this is just part of the routine for me now, and it takes far less time than waiting for epoxy resin to dry, I'm not going to complain too much. Not even worth docking a star. I usually do it outside but even a windowsill works a lot of the time, where I leave stuff overnight because I often work at night. Sometimes it's fully cured when I wake up in the morning. Do your research before starting this craft. Watch some YouTube videos and really understand what you're getting into. Once you know it's super easy, but there's little nuances that are better explained by demonstration. For example, you MUST use clear silicone molds designed for use wit UV resin. You have to cure both sides before demolding it or it gets all weird. Little stuff like that. Don't be caught off guard and get disappointed because of something small you didn't know. Also remember not every single attempt will come out perfectly, but that can be said of any art form. I love this product. It changed my life and I don't say that lightly lol. Up in my top 5 favorite hobbies now. It has really upped my jewelry making game because now I can really say I made it myself, I didn't just attach a premade charm to a hook. Maybe any UV kit would do the trick, but this is the one I bought and it has been FANTASTIC. Second best thing I ever bought for crafting besides my sewing machine. Yay!

Perfect beginner kit
I am new to resin so I wasn’t sure exactly what to buy but this ended being exactly what I needed. It is a UV reactive resin so it cures with UV or sunlight. Luckily it comes with the UV light! I haven’t needed to use the mixing cups as I was simply dropping it onto jewelry to reinforce the charms. It cured super fast! And it is perfectly hard. It comes with instructions for first time users and has plenty in the kit. This is clear, but you should be able to due it with the correct resin dye.

The Amazing, The Good & The Bad…
Product has been amazing for someone who has never used resin before. Though with every product ever made to existence, theres pros & cons to everything. Heres my list- Pros: -user friendly, easy to use and straight forward with instructions. -cures nicely -works great with resin friendly powders/glitters. -convenient and priced properly for a good amount of projects (ive done about six precent decently scaled projects and havent even finished the first bottle) Cons: -even tho low oder, if you are sensitive to smells, you might wanna wear a mask. Im not typically sensitive but ive noticed I get nauseous after use for about an hour before it settles. -if youre sensitive to light, the uv lamp might be best covered or used to the side where it wont affect your eyes. -the product GETS EVERYWHERE. The mat, the tools, the bottle tip. Its best to keep some sort of wet wipe or wipe to help get rid of the extra stuff while working. -UV light is small and tends to get warm. (Not really too much of a concern but thought id mention.) -UV light curing can affect certain holographic vinyls/materials. Ive noticed with my blueish toned holo it tends to make a portion of it white in the transition. Though it still fits the holo very nicely, this could be an issue for those selling products and wanting to keep to the original look. Overall, this product is super effective, affordable, and easy to use. If you mess up you can peel it away from gloss vinyl which is convenient for mistakes. It sands nicely when cleaning up projects, its durable after completion and looks beautiful on final products. Below ive included just a few of the projects ive done with the resin and couldnt be more happier with the results.

This little kid is fantastic. It comes with everything you need to start including two bottles of the UV epoxy resin and it even comes with the little UV lamp although I have a much bigger one for manicures, I didn’t have to go and dig it out and I wasn’t making any big projects today!! Pictured is everything I made just today since it arrived. I’m in love with the UV Resin already (after using two part epoxy resin for the last several years!) It’s fun. It’s very quick cures fast tries hard stays clear. I just love it and I had a blast creating!!

Bueno!
Muy bien la resina es muy buena, la lámpara funciona bien. Es de baja viscosidad así que para hacer un trabajo completo hay que pedir aparte una más espesa

Fair deal for a quality brand
I'm in Australia and I don't know any affiliate here that distributes Let's Resin products. So in saying that, the processing and delivery was very quick from the U.S. to Australia, well before expected delivery date. The UV lamp is quite small but great for a beginner like me. It does what it's made for! No issues for me at all. Thanks Amazon, muchly appreciated.

The ideal starter kit
Perfect starter kit with a good UV lamp and decent amount of resin. The little silicone jugs are a super little bonus - I doubt I'll need to use them for UV resin, but I'm already using them a lot for measuring and mixing small amounts of non-UV resin to make sure the quantities are close to equal. I don't make jewellery, but do a lot of what I call resin engineering where I make prototypes of various kinds, and a mostly use non-UV resin for that, sometimes with embedded reinforcement, but I often need to build moulds out of tape, thin strips or sheets of resin (made on a silicone mat) and superglue before filling them up with normal resin. I'm now using this UV resin instead of the tape and superglue, and it makes the work far neater, faster, orders of magnitude less prone to leaks, while there's no tape getting left behind my mistake being covered by subsequent layers. This resin only needs ten to twenty seconds of UV light to stop it running around, so it's rally practical for this work, and it also sets just as fast using a small UV torch that came with a different product. This has transformed the way I work, and just in the last few days it's saved me many hours of fighting leaks in moulds; indeed, it sets fast enough that a slow leak can be wiped clean and then a drop or UV resin put on it (even from below) and given a quick blast of UV light, and that's it sealed. Be aware if you're buying this kit that you may get a different lamp from the one you're expecting - if you read the small print when clicking through the images at the top you'll see the two different lamps, and you'll get one of those selected randomly, so it's intended as a surprise. I happened to get the one that suits my work better, but the other one would still have been fine. I'd also recommend wearing sunglasses with full UV protection when working with a UV light - I didn't do so to begin with, but felt an odd pain in one eye several times when running the lamp, and I never looked at any of the LEDs while they were lit, so it was just reflected UV light. I work all night and don't see a lot of daylight, so I may be more sensitive to this than normal people, and bright sky hurts my eyes too, but this isn't something you should take any chances with - I'm being extra cautious because my father has developed macular degeneration.
