Fantastic sink for the price! Fits (just barely!) in 30" Kraftmaid sink base.
I wanted a big, sturdy sink for our kitchen remodel. The layout demanded a 30" sink base, this was the biggest sink that the description said fit a 30" base, so we took a chance on it. Our local Kraftmaid rep happened to be at our house to issue replacement doors, and we spoke with him about our sink plans. We were concerned about compromising the structural integrity of the sink, or voiding the manufacturer's excellent warranty. We would have to cut out part of the wood on the top of both sides to get the sink to fit. He said that in no way would it void Kraftmaid's warranty. The wood pieces we were cutting apparently are for attaching Formica to the top of the cabinet - they do not affect the structural integrity of the cabinet at all! There is enough room in the base to leave ~1" on either side of the sink, once the cut has been made. We were thrilled and ordered the Kraus that day. Our plumber was impressed with the quality of the sink. We got lucky with installation, we had less than 1/4" clearance for the drain pipe underneath because we had not anticipated such a deep sink and drain - definitely make sure your plumber has the spec sheet info for the depth of the drain so he allows enough room underneath for the drain rough-in. We are so glad we did! The sink is cavernous - we can stack a pile of dirty dishes on one side, and strain a pot of pasta into a full-sized colander on the other. Overall a beautiful, durable sink for an excellent price, comes with all the accessories, and fits into a 30" sink base - this was a home run in our reno and one of the few decisions we didn't agonize over or second-guess (once we knew it would fit!) We would have loved to support an American company (the Kraus is made in China), however we put chunks of our reno budget towards bigger ticket items made in the USA (appliances, cabinets, etc), and were happy to get a quality sink for a reasonable price.

This is a well-made kitchen sink
I just replaced my 27 year old kitchen counters and kitchen sink. This sink is nice and deep, and it is fairly quiet when the water is running. It cleans up like a champ and doesn't seem to scratch easily. It seems well made and sturdy which are important qualities if you cook a lot/use your kitchen sink a lot like I do.

Quiet, well made, perfect size, stylish
First of all, I wanted a single bowl sink that didn't overwhelm my kitchen counter. And, I wanted a sink that was less industrial looking than the commercial-like sinks. The design of the sink with its rounded corners makes cleaning easy. Like all stainless products, it shows water spots if you don't wipe them up. But Kraus included a micro-towel for this purpose. The sink is quiet due to the sound dampening Kraus has put on the outside walls and underside. I especially like the drain rack that fits in the bottom. It is functional but stylish. The rack comes with extra feet and bumpers so you can replace them when you need to. While this is a relatively small sink, I can put a dishpan on one side and still have room in the sink to rinse things off. A great choice for the new quartz counters we had installed.

Love this sink!
I was hesitant to get this for my kitchen, as it's not a name brand and seems like a knock off. But it's been 6 months since I installed this and it's held up great. No scratches, rusting, stains, or anything. It was easy to install, and fits in my existing counter hole perfectly. Just make sure to measure your counter opening exactly.

Single Bowl Sink for older home remodel
Studied several single bowl sinks at the big box stores and online. Chose the Kraus-25 because of the specs and reviews. The sink arrived one day earlier than originally planned from Prime. Arrival day: shipping material was as sturdy and well designed as others have commented. The UPS driver actually placed the box in the entry way of the house when asked. The only unusual thing about the shipment, the box lid was not fastened to the remainder of the box. No tape, no anything except a friction lid, similar to a very large shoebox lid. Looked through contents, no damage and everything looked good. Day Two: studied the provided template and the template steps mentioned "provided fasteners." I could not find any "fasteners" or written instructions. Day Three: Looked at the Amazon site to determine how I could receive missing parts without returning whole shipment...no helps there. Called Kraus customer service...explained about the missing parts...they asked "which parts?" I said " all the parts used to connect the sink to counter," customer service asked, "which parts?" I said, "there is no parts list included," they said, "we do not provide that detailed of a list of parts." I said, " then how do I know which parts are missing?" customer service then became more defensive. "You mean the screws and nuts?" I said, "the template does not list, screws and nuts, only fasteners, clamps, etc." Kraus customer service said, " we can send you 8 screws and nuts." and I said, "if those are the missing parts, then send them." Kraus customer service then wanted a screen shot emailed to them of the Amazon order since they do not know anything about detailed Amazon orders...Amazon stocks the sinks at their warehouses. Kraus plans to send the "screws and nuts" in a day or two, then to arrive in a week or so. Day Four: If all appropriate parts do not arrive next week, I will exchange entire shipment through Amazon. [Will edit this review later after I receive the missing parts or exchange sink and then try to install.] Day Six: Kraus Customer Service "rushed" the parts order to the parts fulfillment department. Day Seven: Kraus notified UPS of package pickup. Day Eight: UPS released tracking number, they are using their "infamous and you'll get it late" UPS Surepost. Day Twelve: Received parts entitled: "Topmount-SS PART." These parts do not match KTM-25 installation manual I found at [...]. Will try to install sink using Kraus customer service provided parts in a day or two. Day Fourteen: Installed sink. Kraus customer service provided parts included cheap "plastic nut holder pieces" that are mostly garbage if one needs to secure the sink tight using the clamps. (I purchased Lowes' metric nuts to secure sink, their service was excellent). Over-all sink is good quality. It helps to have previous experience installing a sink. Conclusion: May purchase Kraus in the future. Will not purchase anything directly from Kraus. Next time, if I purchase anything through Amazon and there are missing parts, I will return the item(s) in full and seek a replacement if the missing parts are the only thing that are negative about the original product.

The big sink I wanted!
I've been using this sink for about 3 1/2 months now, and I love it. I got it as part of a kitchen renovation I was doing. I paired the sink with the Delta Leland 978-SSSD-DST Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Soap Dispenser, Stainless and impala black granite counters. My garbage disposal fit this sink without a problem. The granite installers put in the sink and it went in easily. The seller was ExpressDecor. They did an excellent job. Everything was packaged very well, came quickly, and had all of the accessories, including the bottom grid, strainer, and towel. I haven't used any of these accessories, but I have them in case I want them. I really wanted a large, single-bowl sink and this fit the bill. Everything I've tried to put in this sink has fit. That's never been true for any other sink I've had. It's deep, which is great with a gooseneck faucet, and it's long so that larger cooking items fit. I love it! I can fill and wash pots and pans, roasting pans, even a pretty big plastic storage crate, and it all has fit without any contortion. Absolutely wonderful! The quality has been great, it's easy to clean, and better price ($199) than the lower-quality sinks the granite countertop places tried to sell me. (For stainless steel sinks, lower gauge means thicker steel.) When one of the granite places tried to sell me an 18 gauge sink for $250, I told them about this one, and I think he went to buy some. I would definitely recommend this sink.

Quality
Very happy with this sink. Very heavy duty, I didn't want the modern sinks that are square as too many people commenting that they are hard to clean and get into the corners. This is a quality large sink.

Excelente compra.

Looks very well made.
This sink arrived extremely well packed, wrapped in a fibre bag, surrounded by 1 inch foam and interior cardboard frame and then encased in a super strong cardboard box. The whole works was then inside an Amazon shipping box. Not surprisingly, it arrived in great shape! (I had worried about shipping this sort of item). The sink is heavy 16vs stainless nicely polished and some form of coating on the back, and comes with a nice strainer basket and bottom grate. Have not installed it but we are very impressed, for the price. Update: The sink has now been installed and both the countertop fabricator and plumber commented positively on its construction and quality.
