Update: unfortunately these did not last very long. They already split open along the seal. Unfortunately I don’t have another $30 for another set. No warranty so I’m SOL. They were nice while they lasted. Absolutely love these! I’ve had them on my wheelchair for about 3 months. They were easy to apply and have stayed on just fine. The only complaint is they get static so everything sticks to them. Once the chair sits for a bit, they dust off easily. They help with my grip and add a pop of color to my temporary wheelchair.

Personally love how it makes my chair look as I have a dark blue chair but also it fits on the wheels perfectly (standard manual wheels), helped so much during the initial pain phase of using a chair (the blisters still sucked but not as much) and are so great both for better grip control and for keeping the elements from effecting use. Do not regret this and have had the same pair for a few years now. Comes off easy to clean too.

It fit well and looked super cool on my manual wheelchair, it made the pushrims bigger and easier to grab. However, i took them off because it was hard to slow down/brake when I went down ramps and all i could do was hard stop. At least they were easy to put on and take off! If i needed better grip i would get gloves instead

Way too grippy. Hard to steer and brake. Attracts dirt. I should have returned when I had the opportunity.

These are no thin rubber sleeves. These are a thick rubber similar to a bicycle tire. Theres almost no strech unless you have the strength of a body builder, or a tool made to expand the sleeve to a diameter that will go over your push rim. My sleeves were hopelessly too small to strech far enough to install them without some sort of help. I looked for a Youtube video with no luck. UPDATE I asked 2 gentlemen from maintenance to see if they could install the covers on my wheelchair. I had my doubts, but between the 2 of them they had both wheels down in less than 10 minutes. I went to try my chair immediately and what I difference it made in making it easier to roll around. I highly recommend these push ring covers, but it might take several hands to get them on a wheel. It's well worth the effort.

When I first bought these they installed easily and were everything I wanted - something to provide more grip and to increase the diameter of the push rim. I bought them just before my trip to Europe, visiting 5 countries. I knew I would be doing a lot of wheeling. They worked wonderfully. Occasionally the chair would come back to me at the airport with it coming off a bit but I was able to fix it on the spot and move on. Fast forward six months, they seem to have lost their elasticity - pushing hard causes them to move a bit which makes them gap and I am constantly pushing them back on to the rim. Not sure if this is true of all rim grips after six months of use or if it’s just this product. Either way I’ll have to buy a new set.

These rim covers are a real game changer and improvement. Before adding the covers, my husbands hands would get sore from spinning the rim and he had to wear gloves to keep from getting blisters on his hands. The covers added more grip area, are smooth, and allow him to turn the wheels much easier and with a lot more comfort. He doesn't have to wear gloves anymore. The quality of the covers is quite durable. They were very easy to put on and fit very nice to the rim.

Los pude colocar muy fácil, no me tardé ni 5 minutos. Aclarando que a mi silla se le pueden desmontar las ruedas y tengo movilidad total en mis manos. Se ven de buena calidad, me gusta que le agregan bastante grosor al aro, tengo manos grandes y eso me da una sensación bastante cómoda porque los aros delgados me cansan. Como dicen otras opiniones, sí se les pega el polvo y el pelo de animal, no sé si ese efecto se quitará en algún momento. Pero también se limpian fácilmente con un paño húmedo. Tienen el agarre perfecto, dejan resbalar la mano lo suficiente para poder dar vuelta, sin llegar a ser una tracción exagerada ni ponerse pegajosos.

El agarre es estupendo, el color genial, pero me parecen algo gruesos, si fueran la mitad de delgados de lo que son serian perfectos. Me parecen toscos
