These mini tins are my go to. The CSY minitin paints are well, and individually packaged, include name of each paint, and magnet to place at the bottom to hold them in place. They are carefully and perfectly packaged. The colours are all stunning, so shimmery and creamy. Definitely try them!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I just had to on this purchase. I’d been looking for some metallic watercolours for aaagggeeesss. And had even resorted to inks for a bit (which just don’t flow the same). And then I came across these. I couldn’t decide between the pinks and the blues so I bought them both. First off the packaging is so nice, and the little tins are just perfect!! The magnetic strips in them to hold the half pans still is a lovely touch too! Texture wise these are so so nice to work with, you can basically see the pigment come to life as you work your brush into the colour. They’re creamy and beautiful to use - working as you’d expect from a water colour. Pigment is just dreamy to be honest. You can get a light sheer finish or gently build up the layers. However don’t do what I did at first and try to load the brush, I did get some clumping of the product and it didn’t blend out as nice. These are definitely a slow build paint. Stunning. I’ll definitely buy more!

Very very pleased with paints. They are quite small but ideal for projects and tin great for storing away. Will definitely buy again when needed.

I was shocked when I first saw the size of the tins (I bought pinks and the golds). But after opening them up and comparing them to my other watercolours they are proper half pans. The tiny tin is extra good for travelling. I wouldn't say they're my all time favourite metallic watercolours, but most have plenty of pigment and they are pretty. I'm also a mixed media artist so I don't demand a lot from my paints other than they look nice in the results. A watercolour artist might be frustrated with them. Overall, pretty, and a nice price for 6 half pans - worth the try I think.

Purchased these for my mother who is a retired home crafter. She absolutely loved these paints, she has basically used them up as she loves them so much. I’ve had to take this from her as I’m no artist, but apparently the color quality is amazing and paints can be mixed easily so you can create your own tones etc. Excellent amount of each colour in a compact and well packaged size tin. Paints are apparently persistent and of good enduring quality.

These have a really lovely shimmer, I will definitely be buying in more colours! I had a gift for Christmas of another well known make and have to say they were very disappointing so I took a chance on these. I'm so glad I did as they are really nice and love the little tin they come in too.

A heck of a lot smaller than expected but beautiful. Definitely worth it.

The quality of these paints is amazing. The sheen from them is incredible, like painting with pearls. They are made from natural substances and are incredibly special to use. I love them

Very impressed with the pigment these pack for the price. They need some time to sit with the water, as the version I received was quite dried out. However, after letting water sit on each for about thirty seconds, you get a very nice consistency. They have a great metallic sheen and paint nicely. I used these with both good quality and bad quality watercolour, i was impressed to see they could last on either. These definitely pack a punch, come in a nice and pleasing container, and add a great pop.

This is THE BEST, most exquisite watercolor paint. Just lovely to work with and it looks even more shimmery when it dries.

I luv the compact tin it came in. And theittle box. The colors are unique, very different! And it even came with 2 magnets to place on a board or on what ever you work on. Its so cute and little but will give you lots of paint out of a cube. Even the names of the colors are unique. These have an unique metallic color to them! Cant wait to try them out. If their good, they have more colors i will buy!

CSY metallic watercolors are very rich in color and quality. I have nine sets now and will order more. They are beautifully packaged and protected for shipping. I ordered one quinshan green set and there is no comparison! Don't waste your money on quinshan. They were skimpy in their packing, and quality and in the amount of paint. CSY are well worth the bit more cost and so fun to work with. The golds are very rich! I'll buy more of these CSY sets.
