Yum Asia Thai Hom Mali Premium Jasmine Brown Rice - 5kg

I took a bit of a risk with this purchase as it was a big bag and I had never tried their rice before. It paid off - this is lovely rice... brown Jasmine rice that has nice texture and good flavour.. I am so happy with it and I am thinking this will be my go to family brown rice from now on. It was certainly worth the risk of buying!

This is the only rice I buy, it has a great smell while cooking, tastes delicious and the 5kg bag lasts a long time

We previously could only find brown basmati rice, we much prefer brown jasmine rice and this was the only brand I could find on Amazon. I couldn’t find brown jasmine rice in the supermarkets. Plus point is this can be easily delivered and can be ordered as part of a regular subscription! No complaints at all about the taste - we mix it 50-50 with white rice and my children take it with no issues. It also helps that the rice doesn’t look terribly brown when cooked. The price is a bit more expensive than regular white rice but for the health benefits, we’ll continue to repurchase.

Sagenhaft! Ich bevorzuge Jasminreis sowieso gegenüber anderen Sorten Reis, deshalb hatte ich jetzt einmal diese Vollkorn Variante ausprobiert. Natürlich braucht man dann im Reiskocher ein anderes Verhältnis zum Wasser und es dauert auch ein wenig länger, aber das Ergebnis lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Er schmeckt einfach sagenhaft gut mit einem nussigen, kernigeren Geschmack. Das ist gar kein Vergleich zu geschältem Jasminreis. Natürlich sättigt Vollkornreis auch viel länger und ist gesünder. Das wäre mir in diesem Fall sogar egal, da er so gut schmeckt. Seit dem ersten Mal beziehe ich diesen Reis dauernd, obwohl man mit 5 kg ja auch einen schönen Vorrat hat.
