This was my first time using net-style sandpaper discs. Pros: - They cut through stick a lot faster than traditional sandpaper - I found it takes less time to sand - You can use a higher grit and get smoother results; the 150 grit sands to a 220 finish Cons: - They are not durable. You can wash and reuse traditional sandpaper. These are thin and the edges of the paper tear first, so they're not really reusable. - They don't work well on sanding edges. I think they'd be great for sometime use, but I think I'll save these for special projects and stick with the traditional sandpaper for everything else.

I hated spending money on sandpaper so I always purchased the cheapest stuff on Amazon that got decent reviews. After watching a few YouTube videos on recommended sandpaper and 3M Xtract being the highest rated, I decided to see what the fuss was about. I'm now a convert. This stuff leaves such a beautifully smooth finish, even at 80 grit, that I had a tough time getting at 220 grit with cheap stuff. In addition, this stuff actually holds up longer and continues to provide a quality finish for probably 3-4x as long. I haven't been using it long enough to really be able to calculate but I suspect this may end up being cheaper in the long run. But even if it weren't, it would be worth it solely for the scratch free finish it gives with much less work compared to cheap sandpaper.

Bought this after reading some reviews and getting tired of the cheaper sandpaper wearing out in just a few minutes of use. This stuff may be a little more expensive but it lasts 3-4 times as long. Best sandpaper I have ever used and I worked in a paint shop for 15+ years. Only thing I have found that even comes close is the Serious Grit but I think this even has the SG stuff beat.
