This nail-polish is nice to protect nails from chipping or breaking, and it also dries fairly fast. It lasts for about a week to a week and a half, then you may want to apply another coat, however it is a good quality for the price.

My nails have been dry, brittle, and splitting. I have been using this nail product for a couple of weeks now and my nails feel stronger and looks so much better. Use every three days. Excellent product.

Just got it and hoping it helps my nails be more strong. Will be do an update in a few weeks. They do look shiny and pretty after a week use.

I’m extremely rough on my hands - typing for work during the day, washing veggies and fruits for fresh juice and dishes on the daily with no gloves, and ranch life in the evenings (think scrubbing down horses, throwing around hay bales, scrubbing water troughs, getting down and dirty when things get crazy). I have never been able to grow my nails past the tips of my fingers and the few times I did, they broke within a day or two. My nails have not broken once since using the Biotin Ultra Strength!! Yes it’s more like a polish than an oil. Yes if you’re really rough the polish will chip off a bit - no big deal for me just clean it off with acetone and re-apply. I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks and the difference is crazy. My nails are growing and strong, and I’m only using 1 coat every few days when it starts to chip. I’ve not been doing the 3 coats per application as other comments have suggested, just the one coat and I wait for it to chip before taking it off and re-applying. Highly recommend if you’re trying to get your nails longer and stronger!! No more manicures for me!

This stuff is THE TRUTH! I don't often leave reviews unless I'm seriously blown away by a product or it's shockingly bad lol. I suffer from iron deficiency anemia and had been rehabilitating my once indestructible nails. With this product they're finally getting back to their former glory. Not only does it keep my nails strong but flexible, I find that it keeps my polish on for 14+ DAYS when used as a base coat. After a polish change, I oil my bare nails consistently for a day or so (I like hard as hoof and bliss kiss nail oil or cnd solar, but any deeply penetrating oil should work). Before my next polish change, I moisturize my hands and nails thoroughly, wash my hands with dawn dishsoap to dehydrate and remove the excess oils from nails. Then, I typically apply 2 coats of this as base polish, let dry, followed by two coats of color and a fast dry top coat. It's been several months without any nail breaks!

Update: I'm now a little more than halfway through the bottle and it has gotten so thick that it's impossible to brush it on smoothly, no matter what I do. It's just... Gloopy. Plus, I've been really struggling to pick up enough of it on the brush because the brush only reaches halfway down the bottle even with the lid completely screwed on. I remember seeing another reviewer mention this but I thought to myself at the time that I would never get that far into the bottle, but here I am a few months later, probably because it goes on so dang thick! Unsurprisingly, this gloopiness certainly does not help with the extra slow drying time. I now have an alternate option on the way and it can't get here soon enough! Original review: every time I apply this stuff it takes forever to dry and still remains tacky for an hour or more afterwards. I've made sure to keep the coats as thin as possible but that doesn't seem to matter. It's especially difficult to apply 2 coats as instructed when starting with bare nails because I have to wait so long in between them. However, some people say that this polish dries really quickly for them, so I'm wondering if not all of the batches of polish are the same. Beyond that, I do like how glossy this polish is and how wide the brush is. Since I use this by itself it does take a couple of coats before you can really tell that there's polish on my nails though.

This nail strengthener is just what I needed! It goes on smoothly, dries quickly and it lasts! My nails are so much stronger, the splitting, tearing and cracks are gone! I use it alone (not with nail color) and it has made my nails stronger and I'm finally growing them back after years of acrylic nails, and more recently, nail dips. No comparison between this and the more expensive brands out there.

I tend to be leary of products I have never used before, but this was a winner. I have been using it for a week and already seeing a great improvement in nail strength. They even look stronger and less brittle.
