Excellent product at an affordable price
Product is excellent in noise reduction, thermal reductions, and itās easy to work with. It is aluminum backed so when cutting you can create sharp edges, just be mindful of that. The adhesive side is great as it sticks well but is also forgiving if you need to adjust. Very pleased with the results.

Great sound mat for the price!
This is a good product. Many people go with KILMAT because of the value to price point. I did as well. When you clean the surface (in my case it was all painted metal) this stuff sticks very well. I do recommend you use a seam roller of some type, I used Lumiteco 3 piece roller set. This will help with adhesion and mostly flatten the overlapped edges. It also helps you see where you have rolled as it leaves little grooves. The difference when we had no sound mats and after was very impressive. We haven't finished our install yet and it is quieter than when we had an interior in the van. There are thicker mats available in other brands, but this will work great for our van build, but this helps keep the weight down. It is quality material, just be careful when you are removing the backing, the edge of the foil face can cut you. I suggest you layout where you are installing the mat and cut to fit. From what I have read, you don't need to cover every inch in the vehicle, just spot install for a big difference. I chose to cover most surfaces to help keep sound out when we are sleeping in the van. We haven't finished putting the van yet, but we have driven it around and been very satisfied with this product.

Awesome product!!!!
I recently purchased the Kilmat sound deadening mats, and they work exactly as advertised. The material is thick, durable, and easy to cut to size. The adhesive backing sticks firmly without peeling up, and the foil surface adds extra heat insulation. Installation was simple with just a roller, and I noticed an immediate reduction in road noise and vibrations inside the vehicle. It also gave a more solid feel to the doors and panels. Overall, this is a cost-effective alternative to higher-priced brands, offering excellent soundproofing and thermal insulation.

Order plenty, youll love it! Excellent product.
This is an excellent product. Very easy to apply and user friendly. Add layers to build up areas easily. I used acetone to prep the area and had excellent adhesion. No piece is wasted. You can add the smallest scrap to anywhere and roll it in. The foil is very strong and pliable. Easy to go onto curves. It is a perfect product. Excellent sound deadening results.

good product, though I liked the thicker ones offered by Siless Better
Sticks well. Not as nice as Siless version. If I were buying again I would just buy extras Siless 120 mil, they are around the same price but the value is better with Siless's thicker panels even though you get less total coverage per pack. Can be cut to size easily, we used a box cutter which got a little gummed but but not too bad. we were able to get it in and around everywhere we needed to put it and it held up well as we were mashing it into weird spots. It doesn't smell hardly at all while being applied and once its on there is no smell whatsoever The product is good for what it is. 4 stars only because I think it gets oversold for how much this alone can do. We did notice a slight reduction in noise but nowhere near the multiple decibels we see claimed everywhere. If your vehicle is mostly quiet but just has that little bit getting through this will probably do wonders, If you have a vehicle where there's significant engine noise in the cabin you'll need more than just this to bring that down.

Worth the money!
My husband got them for his 2017 Ram to help with the sounds of the road. Super easy to install, he bought 2 36 square ft (2 boxes) and was able to do the whole truck, including the doors, and the adhesive is great!

Great quality and easy to install!
I used KILMAT for my van project and Iām really impressed! The sheets are thick, flexible, and stick super well even on curved metal. You can feel the difference right away ā less road noise, better insulation, and a more solid feel overall. Totally worth the price. Highly recommend for anyone doing a van build or restoring an old car! ā Serg

You will be pleasantly surprised. Read the full review.
So if your buying this, you're either killing road noise in your vehicle, or installing a sound system in a vehicle. Let me start buy saying...is it as good as Dynamat? No. Its not...BUT.....please continue reading. Dynamat, at the time of this review, is 5x the cost of this stuff, and its NOT 5x better. its only VERY slightly better. And honestly, BOTH are Butyl Rubber, so the only thing that makes the dynamat better, is its a hair thicker. I bought 3 boxes of the stuff for around half the price of 1 box of Dynamat, and I would do it again. I am building an older mazda truck, and I put 1 layer on the inside of the door skins and roof, 2 layers on the back wall, and 3 on the floor and firewall, and its SILENT inside the truck. It stopped ALL the vibration, sheetmetal reverberation, and the drum effect from thin sheet metal. Its nice and thick, it cuts easy, and sticks well. A couple of pointers before you install it.... Vacuum out all the dust. you want the best possible contact from the rubber to the surface of the panel. Get the installation roller. You can do it without it, but it makes mashing it down a lot easier. Don't waste time fitting it like a jigsaw puzzle. I was trying to do that because I assumed it would give a better end result, until my audio installer friend came over and just told me overlap it and call it day. Its getting covered with panels, and the more weight from the deadener the better. Ended up taking all the little cut parts and sticking them on the firewall. This stuff doesn't look, feel, or act like a cheap "store brand knock off". Get a box and try it before you spend a fortune on "name brand" stuff that is the exact same material with a different logo. Highly recommended. Will buy more if I need it in the future.
