Does it bond immediately like the toluene type?

Thank you for the inquiry about our HH-66 Toluene Free Vinyl Cement! There is a minor difference in the tack time between our regular HH-66 Vinyl Cement and our toluene-free version. While it takes around 2-5 minutes for HH-66 to become tacky, it takes more like 3-7 minutes for HH-66 Toluene Free Vinyl Cement to reach a tacky state. Although the formula is slightly different from our regular HH-66, this product is just as strong as the original!

While some of our customers do use HH-66 to seal stitched seams on PVC vinyl, we should caution you that continued exposure to direct sunlight may yellow excess HH-66 over time. Excess adhesive should be removed, and HH-66 should not be used as a seam-sealing adhesive for fabrics exposed to the sun.
