RealTruck BAK BAKFlip G2 Hard Folding Truck Bed Tonneau Cover | 226338 | Fits 2021-2026 Ford F-150 8' 2" Bed (97.6")

The Tonneau cover is great, but I was just a tad annoyed in that I received the cover with no instructions. When searching online the instructions did not match my cover. I called support and after 50 minutes on hold I learned that I received the new body style with different rail attachment. Support was very friendly and he did send a PDF of the instructions, but it was a little frustrating. With the instructions the install is a snap, but it was not intuitive without them. See step 7 and 10 on the attached image if you find yourself in a similar position. Otherwise the instructions are the same.

This is my second time purchasing one of these covers (first one was on a 2011 Nissan). They are very sturdy and with a locking tailgate you can securely keep items in the bed of the truck. Took me maybe 30 minutes maximum to install, I did have a helper. I’d buy another one of these covers without question. One improvement they have made since 2011 is there is a snap and small strap so you can flip 2 sections up so you could have a large item in the back of the truck without flipping the cover completely up and blocking your view out the back window.

It does the job. Definitely worse material than 5 years ago. Plastic clamp came broken. Rail end caps broke off and I had to put back together.

This cover leaks. Don’t get unless you are ok with some water in your bed. Had a soft cover before that was solid and covered end to end for half the price and was always dry. Disappointed.

Install wasn't easy, we had to watch the video a few times to get it right. Once on, though, it is very secure as long as your truck has a locking tailgate. It looks great, doesn't stick up above the truck bed like some do. Easy to fold up out of the way, just stop at the third panel if you don't want to block your rear window. It has straps just for that purpose.

Cover arrived in excellent condition, all parts needed included, and clear instructions for the install. I'm 82 with the normal aches and pains and the install went easily. The fit was spot on. This is the third Bak Flip G2 I've had and never have had any complaints. Definitely would recommend to others. (I sent a commentary regarding this product on my warranty activation, except I patched in a critical review on an entirely different product. Talk about embarrassing.)

I had one of these for my 2014 f-250 and loved it. No leaks or issues. No matter what I went through. I then bought a 2023 f-150, and this one does leak. I understand a car wash is not really a good indication, but this one leaks in the lightest rains. I will admit, not enough to return, but I am a little disappointed in this new design. I checked and double checked my installation and checked both drainage tubes. I can't find any issues. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the leaking.

This is the 3rd G2 I've owned. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the G2 now has the new style lip at the tailgate end, which does not require you to open the tailgate before closing. One of the G2's i had for 9 years (swapped from a 2010 Ram to 2013 Ram) and only had one issue, but Bak sent me a repair kit free of charge... that took all of 10 minutes to fix. About an hour to install and now I have a giant trunk on my 24 F150 RCSB.

Fit great, easy to install and great if you need to flip it up to utilize the entire truck box.
