Great little product to clean up a desktop. The drawer has slots for plastic dividers so you can create whatever configuration you want for storage. It's solid, easy to assemble, and very stable.

I saw this online and thought it would be great, then I read the reviews and there were complaints about it doesn't assemble easy, the pins are too small, it's not sturdy enough etc. I ordered it anyway thinking eh, I got a 50/50 shot. It comes, I open it, everything comes out, a pack of hardware, a pack of dividers, 3 flat shelf things 2 side brackets a plastic drawer and 3 file folder dividers (Yes, I said file folder dividers, remember that for later) I started putting it together to see how it fits and then I remembered, WAIT... a lot of reviews complained about it not fitting together properly. So I stopped myself and went to the instructions. The instructions are simple enough, printed on the front and back. No, not that sheet that tells you to put the black pin IN the white brace in the hole. PAY ATTENTION TO THE SIDES OF THE SHELVES there are 3 flat pieces that all have different edges, 1 is for holding up the FILE DIVIDERS. Ok, so , I begin putting it together. Yes, the parts are going to easily warp, its mesh aluminum on aluminum or tin frames, what did you expect? I put the slats for FOLDERS on first. There's 3 with 2 walls to make 5 spaces for FOLDERS. You match it over the hole, then put the white brace ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE 2 HOLES, then you put the black pin IN THE WHITE BRACE, push it all the way down and it will make the white brace split at the bottom, this is supposed to happen, don't be afraid. This is what holds it down, do that for the rest of them. Then you have to put the sides on the shelves. Follow the instructions, it's pretty easy, there's pictures. The drawer is pre-assembled. Now, In some of the reviews there were people complaining about sturdiness and then put heavy books in the file organizer. Guys... it's not a book shelf, it's an office/home office stationary organizer with file folder dividers on top. That's for NOT HEAVY BOOKS. Maybe one or 2 normal paperbacks in the middle, but jeez I seen some pictures with like heavy books that almost take up the whole slot. That's not what this is for, if you want a bookcase, go buy a bookcase. Is it good for the price? YES Is it sturdy enough for thick and/or hard covered books? NO Will it work for folders, files, post its, paper clips, pens, pencils, scissors, etc? YES Is this like the same one I saw in Target and Walmart but cheaper? YES

I bought two different units. This one has the units that attach at the top for your files. They are smaller, so the files will stick out on both ends a bit, but I'm okay with that. My only dissatisfaction with it was that the parts that you attach that will hold files are chipped. There are several places where there is no paint. Should be black, but is a lighter gray without any paint. I figure if it did that in shipping or if it came that way to tart with that it might lose more paint once it is used -- hopefully not, but it is a possibility. Otherwise the set up works for me. I have a couple of clip boards in there, a small notebook/calendar; some note pads and will start adding files soon. All in all a good product. Since I bought two different units, I switched the feet out because they would fit better on the bottom of the units if I 'switched' them. One still doesn't hold well, but the switched feet from the other product worked better on this unit and they stay on better. I don't know, maybe they just put the wrong ones in both packages -- it is from the same company -- so it's possible it could happen. Anyway, they do need to work on the pieces that fit on the bottom to keep your furniture from scratching -- the ones they sent didn't fit well on the devices they were supposed to go to. Something you probably need to look at and redesign. Other than that, it will work for keeping my desk really tidy and I like that I have more room to put paper on the desk or a file if I'm working with one and everything isn't all over the desk anymore! It was a good purchase, despite the rubber feet issue.

Perfect for my small desk at home . Easy to assemble

At first, I found the assembly process a bit puzzling, but it was straightforward. Once put together, the organizer fits my desk perfectly and offers excellent functionality for keeping loose papers, sticky notes, and other desk accessories in order. I appreciate that it doesn't take up much space, making it a great addition to my workspace. Overall, I recommend it for anyone looking to improve desk organization.

I spent a lot of time looking at desk organizers. I am a teacher and have a U-shaped table that serves as my desk at school. Thus there isn't any storage on it and having a ton of papers all over the surface sort of defeats the purpose of being able to use that table to work with small groups of students. So I have been in the market for some type of organizer and finally settled on this one. It was super easy to put together. The instructions were clear and the seller even sent me an email with extra instructions to make sure I put the fasteners on correctly so that the top part would be secure. I think it took me 15 minutes total to put it together (and only that long because I was impeded by not wanting to break a nail haha). I like this organizer so much I decided to use it at home! The pictures show it sitting on the corner of my desk at home. The bottom spaces have plenty of room for paperclips, post-its, staples and a stapler and an assortment of writing utensils (as I mentioned I'm a teacher so there is never a shortage of writing materials in my vicinity). The small shelf is nice for storing scissors and random papers or notepads. The top unit is awesome. It's housing card stock for my paper crafting purposes, two cutting mats and some random files. As you can see there is still plenty of room on it. I love this organizer. Even though I originally intended it for school use, I like it enough to want to use it at home. I haven't decided if I'm going to get a second one to actually use at school or not. It's a great price, easy to put together and it holds a lot. A+ in my book!

Before ordering this organizer I read several of the reviews (both good and bad). I liked the look, size, and functionality of this unit. The good reviews all claimed it was sturdy (and far out-weighed the bad reviews). The bad reviews claimed it fell apart (among having broken pieces, etc.). One good review stated that the "black pin" needed to be pushed all the way in to make it sturdy. I decided to order it. It arrived completely undamaged THE NEXT DAY!!! I followed the very clear directions, which show putting the vertical divider on the unit FIRST, THEN put the white pin in, THEN put the black pin in and push it down. The whole unpacking and assembly took less than 15 minutes. It is VERY sturdy and I have 3 large text books (more than an inch thick), several spiral notebooks (more than an inch thick) and some loose papers all in the top vertical dividers, with room to spare. This is a lot of top weight on this unit and it is STILL VERY STURDY. No wobbles, no leaning, no worries. It is a GREAT BUY FOR THE MONEY!! Just make sure you follow the directions during assembly.

Could not find a compact, multi-purpose desk organizer in local stationary and office supply stores. This is a great piece and I like the fact I have a tray and file slots combined. Excellent value for money and super fast delivery.
