Does this gauge install in a 2" hole or do you have to use it in the aluminum housing?

I just recently purchased this, got it installed and have 2 bad sensors. Can I get some replacements? Also seems to be off on psi that it’s reading

I have this installed but cannot get the gauge to stay in the pod. Is it supposed to snap in?
