I used this to confirm a half sibling relationship. It was extremely easy to use, and the results are pretty straightforward. A quick email back to them will confirm what you are reading. I wouldn’t be concerned about the review that says theirs was either half sibling or unrelated so they didn’t get an answer. Based on what I received, it may have been they weren’t reading their results correctly or potentially had bad samples. We sent in our samples last Wednesday, and even with the holiday we received the emailed results today. Extremely fast!! I do recommend reading the instructions thoroughly before taking your samples and not eating or drinking for 30 minutes prior. Overall, this was a great experience.

I purchased this product to confirm information I was given regarding my birth father. I ordered the kit and my (maternal) sister and I completed the test. Unlike some genealogy DNA tests that require a lot of saliva, this test was very easy. All we had to do was swab the insides of our cheeks with included swabs and place them in the enclosed specimen envelopes. Then the envelopes were placed into the postage paid envelope that was included. When completing the test I had a question concerning collection so I called the enclosed number and I was immediately connected to a “live” person who was very helpful in answering my questions. When the company received our swabs my sister and I both received an email. The test results were emailed to us the very next day! I had expected a wait of a week or more, so this was a very pleasant surprise. The test results were easy to read and there was a number included to call if there were any questions. I highly recommend this company and their products.

This company is amazing and professional! Speedy turnaround time and discreet. I bought several kits to test siblings and grandparents. I am completely satisfied with the easy to use kit, hassle free return to lab and accuracy of results. Theres always been question about family relationships so My Forever DNA was able to give closure to some family matters. Not the results I was hoping for, but needed the truth and I think I got it. I researched before I bought it and this test tests more markers than most others available so Im confident in the results. The instructions were very easy to follow and complete. The results were a little confusing, but listed a number to call and I was given the answer very quickly. Worth the money if you need an answer and got it very quickly too. Thank you.

Pro's: good customer service with fast response by phone and email. Kit was easy to use and got results in ~10 days despite holiday season Con: Report is very poorly worded and hard to understand the results. This is what I got for example and you can see what I mean. When I emailed, they said 2 people are full siblings even though report makes it sound otherwise: "With regards to the question of whether these two individuals are full or half siblings, they are 118617 times more likely to be full siblings with a probability of 99.99%. With regards to the question of whether they are half siblings or unrelated, they are 1460609788 times more likely to be half siblings with a probability of 99.99%. A prior probability of 0.5 was assumed."

This product was simple and easy to use. The package comes with everything you need including a postage paid envelope. It took 8 days for results after putting it in the mail. The results were emailed. I will say the scientific results were confusing and hard to understand, but they say to email questions. I was able to email my confusion and they immediately responded with clarification! Their customer service alone would have me recommend them!

The process was very easy. I would recommend paying out of pocket to send it overnight because it comes with postage paid but it takes several days to get to the processing place. Unless you don’t mind the wait. Once they receive your samples they are speedy and discreet with delivery of your results. Satisfied with the whole process. Would recommend 100% for accurate, speedy results over a cheaper version.

We purchased this product to find out if my husband's siblings were blood related to him or not. Long story, but, at 61, he found out he was adopted. Because of a resemblance between one of our kids and one of his "sister's" kids, we thought this dad may really be his dad. Messy. We were sent the test, did a cheek swab on him and his sister, and it came back "inconclusive", which happens only 10% of the time. At $229 we were no better off, and were frustrated. Jolene from the company called and was determined to make it right. She sent another kit, we swabbed his brother, and the results came back with a definitive answer. We were so pleased with how willing they were to help us find answers. Very few companies go out of their way to show kindness and concern. This company did. They are 5 star! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for answers to the hard questions concerning DNA and blood relatives. They can be trusted. Btw...I guess you're wondering.......He was not the father.
