The Turtle Thinks they smell & taste good.
I had a wild turtle wander into my pond. I was feeding my goldfish pond flakes when I noticed him/her. He/she was eating the pond flakes so I looked up information about the turtle, I believe he/she is a Common Northern Map Turtle. I have put logs and tried other stuff on the side of the pond to see if he would come out. I didn't want him trapped in the pond since it might be hard for him to get out, but he never gets on them. He does like the fish food as well as dried grasshoppers. I am going to try dried crickets next. He is a welcome distraction for someone like me who is high risk for the virus and has been living alone and isolating since March.

Spike approves!
My son said that Spike will only eat his bugs if they were live. Well, he was wrong because Spike thinks these things are pretty darn tasty! Heโs 13 years old now, so maybe being an old man, he prefers not to have to chase his food all around anymore, who knows, but he loves to pick these grasshoppers, and the crickets out of his food dish, and he will eat them before he gets to the veggies.

Hermit crabs seem to enjoy although it took some time
I was trying to get a variety of food for my hermit crabs and these were recommended. I hate bugs so this immediately grossed me out but itโs for the hermies so I set aside my feeling and made little meals for them. They do smell but itโs not horrible. It smells like a dead bug. There are full size pretty large crickets and legs in there. So far they seem to like them. It was a really good price and last a long time. I have 15 hermies and have only gone through a quarter of the bottle. They do get bored if you give it to them every nigh though so I switch it up. Overall good purchase

A+ bottle of dead grasshoppers
My hedgehog prefers meal worms to grasshoppers, but for varying the diet, these are great. Packaging and price are both good. We have a cat that likes to eat these grasshoppers. So the kids always have some willing creature to feed them to.
