My son is 6 years old and while he couldn’t quite ready them independently yet, he and my husband both enjoyed reading these together. Entertaining stories and nice graphics, plus I love the sections at the end where there is some additional information like sports terms and game analysis. I will gift this set in the future as well as buy the other sets for my son!
