I got this for my toddler son because he is obsessed with music and I wanna keep him as analog as possible so he is off iPads and devices. This has been a dream come true. I got him his favorite music like Enya and Kidz Bop and Laurie Berkner band and he hangs out in his room all day, listening, and playing with toys with his sister.what's brilliant is he has his hands-free because he's not on a device. So he can build things like train tracks, etc. and he also loves the buttons on the CD player and how it lights up like a disco party. It is seriously so so fun! Best gift we've ever gotten him!

Introduced my four and a half year old granddaughter to audio books. She loves learning so she caught on right away. We listen together at the kitchen table. I introduced her mother to “books on cassette tapes at 30 months. I would take her to the library and take the BOT out. She had turned three that September and for Christmas she ask Santa for a Little Tykes Tape Recorder and Santa dropped off and put it under the Christmas tree. Now my daughter will be 40 in September.

The CD portion stipped working with 30 days. not well made. very cute but clearly lacking in functionality.

Got this for our 4 year old Grandson for his birthday. We needed something that we could load music on and this was it. All we had to add was a small usb drive and boom! He's rocking the Red Kingdom (Go Chiefs) all over the house! The only thing is that the speakers are exposed as there is no grill over them. But all in all it's great. The 4 star rating was due to the lack of speaker protection.
