Great quality. Each brush comes in its own tube to prevent damage. Amazing point retention. I was worried about the stiffness at first but after soaking the softness expected was apparent and these brushes glide on the paper. Wonderful variety of sizes in the set and they look esthetically pleasing. Great value for the price listed.

These brushes are hands down some of the best brushes I have ever used. I have been doing watercolor painting for over 10 years and these brushes are amazing. I have not lost one hair while painting with these, the tips are just as pointy as when I purchased the brushes months ago and I use them almost daily. They hold a lot of water and the paint goes smooth on the paper. The brushes appear to be built like tanks and I could probably run over them with my truck and they would still be intact. No complaints...will buy more if these ever wear out but they probably wont.

Took some time getting used to these large brushes, but it helped keep my painting loose.

Quality mop/quill brushes at an affordable price! Packaged so nicely! AND: they hold a LOT of water, keep their shape well, and feel very durable. I highly recommend!

I have yet to put these fully to the test, but so far I'm impressed. I think they will last a long time. Holds a lot of water/paint. They don't feel cheap, but they were very affordable. Nice selection of sizes, from an extremely large 12 to a small 1. I don't spend money on expensive brushes anymore, but these feel to be of similar quality as my Silver Black Velvets. They are taklon, not animal hair, which can be a plus for animal lovers who don't want to use animal products. I do not know what type of "glue" they use to keep the points stiff during shipping, so I don't know if they are truly vegan or not, but I am pleased with my purchase. We shall see how they hold up over time and if they shed or not while painting.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love these brushes. They hold water. I've been using for watercolor and so far pretty good. No hairs falling out.

I obviously didn’t read properly as the brushes were a lot bigger than I expected. Not a problem though, these have been perfect for my acrylics paints.

Buying these brushes individually would be cost prohibitive for the learner artist so this is a good value set for those starting out. Hold a good amount of water and keep their shape. I recommend these for my students.
