hello, anyone tried the A4 scooter? do large wheel work better then small wheel diameter?

Yes, larger is better for sidewalk cracks. I have bought both the smaller 5.5inch diameter Cruizer and the larger 8.0inch diameter A5. Even better for safety and smooth ride, I replaced my 8.0inch urethane A5 wheels with 8.0 inch air wheels from Micro Kickboard and experienced no loss in roll.

The scooter is assembled. You take it out of the box,unfold it, adjust the handle bars, and off you go! I will admit when my son took it for a QUICK spin, and I mean QUICK, he loved it. He folds it up after parking his car at the stadium, and scoots back to campus! You'll be pleased.

I am 6'2" and 200 lbs. I'm looking for a simple scooter to cover the 1/4 mile walk from my car to my office. Will this work okay for that?

I'm 6'1", 165lbs, I commute 1-2 miles every day on mine to my office with no issues. I will tell you that it requires a fair bit of maintenance; oiling, screw tightening, cleaning, etc. More expensive scooters probably will last longer.
