Got this outdoor cooker for propane cooking and it worked even better than I expected. My mom used it to make tamales, and it heated evenly and quickly. Build quality feels solid, and the steel braided hose seems durable. No issues so far. Overall: Simple setup, works great, and perfect for outdoor cooking like tamales or other big meals.

I like the size of this one. It is slightly smaller than most. Which I find more convenient as I take it places in the car a lot. It's also tall enough to place directly on the ground The build and material quality are very good. It also has a built in wind shield for the burner. Many of the smaller ones don't. Flame has a wide range of adjustments. It works well with an economy pancake griddle or a large stock pot with a turn of the dial. Also the price for a stainless steel frame and cast iron banjo type burner is a good deal.

This is a review of the stainless steel version. I purchased this to replace the side burner on a gas grill that I got rid of. I’ll use this mainly for an occasional crab pot or anything that might stink up the house or during a power outage. First off I got the stainless one because things rust fairly easily in the Pacific Northwest. Now stainless comes in several different grades top grade is non-magnetic because it’s made with alloys instead of iron it can corrode but not rust. This is a lower grade it contains iron and is magnetic and might rust but nowhere as bad as just steel. Which I am ok with. Was a decent price, shipped quickly, well packaged arrived in perfect condition with all parts and is as described. Easy to put together fair instructions but the little 10mm stamped wrench is pretty worthless but that with a Phillips screwdriver will work, I used a proper 10mm wrench and10mm socket but not everyone has them. NOTE! this is the reason for 4 and not 5 stars the metal for the stand has very sharp edges I took my Dremel and ground every edge smooth if you don’t do this somewhere along the line you’re looking to get cut. It only took around 15 minutes to do but you shouldn’t have to do it. Once together it’s very sturdy, the largest pot I have is a 32qt an it sits well on the stand. They don’t state how many BTUs the burner is it’s 5 1/2” round with 72 holes and it’s not wimpy, on medium the flames are 8-10 inches tall I don’t think I would ever need it full on, light it on low and go from there. It has the oxygen mixing wheel on the inlet of the burner. While straight blue flames without any orange or yellow is best, being outside with the humidity blue with a few orange tips is the best I could achieve and that’s good enough. The propane hose is decent quality the valve seems ok too but only time will tell. This burner should fit my needs well and I don’t expect any issues in the future, but again time will tell. So far I’m happy with this purchase. Aloha
