Perfectly Perfect!
LOVE THIS! I was putting on a breakfast for a large group of women business owners and realized I needed a creamer that could be left out for an extended amount of time. This darling is perfect! Here are a just a few points I love: It doesn't leak. It keeps Half & Half well within the safe zone for several hours. Please note, I am sure you know this but...your cream/Half & Half/milk should be cold before you pour it in the creamer. Personally, I also chill the creamer container before pouring the liquid into it...just saying. The shape is pretty cool! Not only is it attractive, but it also prevents any real concerns about tipping. The price is MORE THAN FAIR, especially for the quality! Okay, yes, you might have a delightful Crate & Barrel or Sur la Table ceramic/porcelain pitcher that looks just "so cute"...however, it will not keep the liquid cold. This one will! Buy this one, you will love it!

This was the perfect addition to my catering event. Being able to have a large container for half and half that stayed cold was so nice! Also it matched all the stainless steel of the coffee dispensers like it was made to be there.

Lovely carafe
I purchased 3 of these for church use. They are so classy looking, hold a lot of creamer and keep it cold. So glad I purchased.

Know your purpose
If you’re looking for a pot that keeps liquid to warm for eight hours, this is not for you. For the money, it works well to keep my morning coffee warm for an hour or so. I use a French press so that’s what I needed this device to do.

Don't buy this unless you like the taste of fabric softener in your coffee
Sometimes amazon packaging has a strong perfumey odor. From some kind of plastic additive I assume? Whatever that unwholesome chemical is, it pervaded the plastic in the lid of this carafe. It can not be removed by any conventional means - baking soda, vinegar, soap, alcohol, boiling water, or bleach. Whenever hot water is placed in the carafe, it immediately takes on the perfume scent. Totally unfit for human consumption and will be commended to the bosom of the great pacific garbage patch from whence it sprang.

It pops when you open it when it’s filled with hot coffee
This thermos is fine. I’m only giving it three stars out of five because the cap is plastic and because when you fill it with hot coffee, seal it, and then open it, it pops, which can be very startling. Especially when you’re drinking your coffee early in the morning…
