Perfect Tumblers!
I like to make glitter tumblers. I was using epoxy. Never again!!! This stuff is amazing! The gloss finish and depth you get with just a few coats is mind blowing. It's nontoxic and cleans with water and soap. You don't need a mask to use it until you sand. I love it and will not use epoxy for my tumblers again. The company is great and has other things you can buy to help with making tumblers. The only thing I don't like is the 2 week wait for it to arrive. But, I know you can't rush perfection.

Easy and odor free
You're going to use a lot of this. It only builds up a tiny layer at a time but the great part is you can use it indoors. I've done up to 10 layers on 1 cup. It has very little odor. Just the tiniest whiff of chemical smell. I wish I tried this before epoxy resin. You can add additives to it also. Easy to work with. Gloss is good too. I love it. It's just pricey for the amount you get.

Cap split, uses a lot of layers...
Immediately upon trying to slide the cap back on this, it split. I wrapped Painters tape around it to seal, and it works to keep it from drying out, but, it should not split easily as it did. This is a great epoxy free alternative for making tumblers. It's easy to sand by hand if you find imperfections in a layer, and it can be recoated every 2 hours, but, it is easy to add too much in one go and have to wait a bit longer to add another. My tumblers require about 10 coats each to get to a final product, but if I want to do more than basic designs, they require atleast 15 coats. I am already two thirds through this bottle and only have 2 completed cups, with 6 others in the process of being worked on. I also use mod podge for my initial glitter layer and sealing that, so needless to say, with mod podge and this, it really does not stretch for making too many cups with just one bottle. My best guess is 3, maybe 4 cups can be made with this if using as the only product from start to finish. I personally find this is the only real issue I have with this product. It does not give a lot of room for profit if you were be making these and selling. In addition to the 6 to 8 dollars per tumbler, add in a 2 to 6 dollar cost for materials like vinyl and glitter and sandpaper, etc, then add in the 5 dollars to use this, it makes it close to 15 to 20$ just in materials to produce a cup. Depending on how much time it takes you to make each design, if you sell these for the average price they sell for, you are looking at a rate of 10$ an hour for your labor, with no overhead calculated into that cost. That's also assuming no major mistakes were made. So, for me, I love this product, and how great tumblers turn out, but buying bulk will definitely be the way to go if you want to produce tumblers to sell. You can cut costs by a third atleast, buying bigger. Overall quality of product, 5 star all day. Cost for small projects is very fair, but not wise if planning on resell. This is a great size to get the feel for whether you like the product or not, and great size for small projects. I will definitely be a repeat customer for this product, but next time will be buying bigger quantities.

Crystalac is the only one I will ever buy
This was easy to use the directions were simple and clean up with soap and water. This has very little smell and if you get it all over just wash it up. Left a great shine on my tumbler. I have used it on 3 tumblers so far and I have a lot left for my next ones. This was my first time using and I am so happy.

Love that it non toxic
CrystaLac never disappoints! Love its non toxic quality. No smell & can use my hands… no gloves required. No breathing in toxic fumes. Thin coats dry completely in an hour.

It’s not what I expected
I can’t imagine what the problem is but a month after receiving it, it looks like it’s curdling. There is a mass of little lumps that I have to pull off after brushing it on. It also dulls the finish. The glitter transforms to “dull and meh” after the 2nd application. I struggle with resin so I was excited when I saw someone use it on YT, but this is annoying. I have been wondering if I could strain it…I won’t but I might.

So Easy, and safe, to use!!
Bought to change my cup colors before blinging them. I love how user friendly this stuff is. No mixing, no measuring mistakes, no toxic fumes.. A little milky in the bottle but dries to a beautiful shiny clear.. Everything you need to know you can find in the Crystalac facebook groups!

Overpriced small bottle
I was excited to try it but I didnt like it at all. It dried rubbery and who has time to do 20 coats when you are trying to cover chunky glitter and vinyl. The price is too much considering how much you'll use for 1 tumbler cup.

garbage
Way too runny. Even on my cup turner it would gather and set into beads of product and it looked awful. And for the price it is far too expensive to make things with because it is so thin and requires at least 8 coats or more to get a glossy finish. I wanted to love it and use it to replace toxic resin but it honestly is much cheaper to stick to resin and less time consuming
