Gypsy Witch Fortune Teller 1930

I originally saw this book on EBay in an older published copy. After bidding on it once,and seeing where it was going in price,it occurred to me that it just might still be published. Amazon came through and even though it is a newer publishing, that really didn't matter to me as I was more interested in it's content than it's vintage. So the 1928 copy went for 34.77 and this copy, a bit less with shipping. Haven't had a chance to read a lot of it yet, but what I have read is very interesting. One thing in particular, that I was told to do as a young girl, was to peel an apple from top to bottom in one piece. You throw it over your shoulder and when it lands on the floor,whatever letter it looks like is the first letter of the person you will wed. I found that there was a little more to the custom that I didn't know but at the time,it landed in the shape of an "E". I thought "what name could possibly start with an E". Well guess what, I married an Erwin, go figure.

This was a book I have been looking for for some time, so I did not mind the wait. It took several weeks to receive and I sent several e-mails with no responce. Finaly I received the book (it was sent 2nd day express so I would receive it on the last day of the shipping agreement). I understand how hecktick retail is and how shipping can lag behind, but I would have prefered to receive the product late rather than to have my emails ignored.
