TORC T59/ Sundowner Motorcycle Half Helmet with Magnetic Buckle DOT Approved

Beautiful. The color is a crisp white. Comfortable fit. My only complaint is that the sun visor needs to come down lower.

I have read the other reviews and yes, this helmet does sit on top of your head a little high compared to a low profile helmet. This helmet does not however sit higher than any other DOT certified helmet I've worn. The DOT Certified helmets have more padding and are much thicker for better protection and that is the reason for the way it fits. The size chart seems to be accurate or at least it was for me. My head measured 22.5 inches so I got a medium and it fits snug. Not too tight but definitely not lose. You do not want a helmet that shakes on your head. This helmet does have a few neat and useful features that much more expensive helmets do not. The magnetic chin strap works great. The flip down sunscreen is a great feature when you need some added sun protection. I would like to see the addition to a flip down clear screen instead of just the tinted one. The clear screen would be nice at dusk or nighttime and I would just wear my sunglasses during the day. Although I have not tried them out yet, the removable ear muffs look like they will be good protection from the cold air and wind during the winter. An added bonus for this helmet is the removable and washable inside head liner. I don't think there is a better helmet out there for the money as long as you don't mind the way DOT Certified Helmets usually fit on your head.

feels tight on the temples. Would recommend a xxl size of you have a normal size head. If you got a narrow face then you should be fine Note I am a bigger guy @ 6 2" will use it as a extra helmet for friends since it's kinda tight for me but usable in a pinch.

I have a comically small head! The XS size is perfect! Most Small sizes are way too big, I’m so glad I found a helmet that is for adults and DOT approved and fits like a glove! I also love the removal ear pads and the buckle!

This appears to be a well made helmet. Graphics are nice and the magnetic chin strap is great- HOWEVER that's where the good things end. I normally wear an XL in helmets but based on some of the reviews I went up a size. I don't know what it is about the helmet, but it sits on top of your head and looks ridiculous. It's like the inside material is too small and doesn't match the size on the shell. It's hard to describe but this helmet sits more like a crown on your head than a helmet. It's going back
