Can't find a single vein

It is quiet a handy device; the finishing of the outer body could have been more better.

This device comes in a large foam padded case. However the purpose of the case is defeated as the foam is only on one side and the device easily comes loose during transport. It ends up rattling around in the case! There should be a foam in the other side of the case as well to prevent this. The case too is very large compared to the size of the device which might make it look impressive but also tedious to carry and store. The device itself is partially effective. You can see the outline of the vein better than the surrounding area but it doesn't highlight it very clearly. On my 9 year old kid the veins weren't really highlighted well enough to be clearly useful, even in total dark. The entire purpose of purchase was to make it easier to see my kids veins clearly during any blood tests. The build quality is not bad but the led light strip underneath the device was a loose fit and had separated from the body by a few mm , leading to a sharp pain when trying to move the device over the surface of the skin. Possibly the strip could have been glued firmly into place so that this didn't happen. Overall i didn't feel that it was worth the price. I returned this device due to the defect in the light strip scratching the skin, but overall i wouldn't buy this device again.
