These herbs are really powerful! makes make hair nice and strong. I don't use it a the package says, I actually add this powder to a deep conditioner, mix it well and then rinse out on wash days. I also add it to raw shea butter, or if i have another hair cream i just add this powder to it and mix it well, and rub it on my hair and scalp as a hair cream. I do not rinse it out. It gives it a nice smell almost like dried fruity smell, and the longer its mixed in the shea butter the better it works. I noticed it keeps my scalp nourished and itch free, and it has strengthened my hair a lot. I have very thick curly hair, tends to dry easily but with these herbs mixed in a hair cream wow, no more breakage or dryness! very nice! it has turned my greys like a light brown almost amber color, which is fine. This powder last a long time, you really do not need a lot when adding it to a conditioner or hair cream or oil.

There are a lot of claims made about this product. I can verify that stopping shedding is for real. I have applied this three times (once a week over the last three weeks). I mix mine with steaming water, a quarter of an avocado, juice of half lemon, and a few drops of Rosemary essential oil. I leave it on for exactly two hours before washing out. In the last three weeks, I have noticed a huge reduction in the amount of hair that sheds when I shampoo or brush. The directions say you should wait 24 hours before shampooing. I would advise ignoring that direction. Although this product is not designed to deposit color in your hair, I can tell you there are just enough tannins in it to ruin your towels and pillowcases. Unless you shampoo it out right away. Also, the smell is VERY strong and it definitely stays in your hair. I have managed to mitigate this somewhat by using some leave in conditioner after I shampoo it out. With those caveats, I would recommend this. I am definitely going to be ordering more.

I have been using this pack for about 8 months. I was interested in the benefits of henna for repairing the gaps in the hair cuticle, but I really love the additional herbal powders added. It does tint my greys a golden hue which i love as my hair already has reddish tones naturally. For those who say it's drying and makes the hair brittle, you need to mix this with a few tablespoons of olive oil or jojoba oil and I also add rhassoul clay for its conditioning properties. That addition of oils will keep the treatment from seeming too drying, but you must deep condition or at least apply a good conditioner after this. I wash my hair first with black soap, then I apply this mixture (pudding consistency) from root to ends, cover with 2 plastic bags and sit under my heat cap for an hour. Sometimes I keep it in overnight. I do this once a month. My hair has stopped breaking, the frizz is almost completely gone, I'm retaining my length, it's shiny and it feels strong but not hard. Very soft, but not weak. I also use good old fashioned hair grease on my scalp and hair shaft then I seal all that in with homemade flaxseed gel, focusing on my ends. Then I put my hair up and tuck my ends away. I will keep buying this as long as it's available! You just have to know how to best use it for you. I don't follow the package directions because they don't make sense for my hair type.
