Do these leave residue on surfaces or hands?

They don’t leave any residue behind on the surface you are wiping & just a trace on your hands. I never feel the need to wash my hands after using them & I’m an avid washer.

Great product, very useful to me on my woodworking projects. I’m always shocked at the amount of “junk” they manage to pick up!! BTW, I often cut them for smaller projects & put the used portion in a bag. Saves money & product!

I paid for mine; bought them on Amazon. I love this product; find it super helpful on my woodworking projects! I never wanted to spend the money for these clothes & would just wipe down my projects, but I’m definitely getting better results when I use the clothes! Whether I’m painting, staining or just clear coating something, I get a much smoother finish now.

Can this tack cloth reusable??

No once it's used up that is. Many turn it and refold to clean areas and keep going with it until it's all sides been used well. So in that regard kinda yes. It's a cheese cloth. I've never attempted to wash by hand or in a mesh laundry bag for machines this or any kind of tack cloth. You can't dry in drier as it's cotton and probably wouldn't fair well. MAYBE when still wet from washing you might try to iron it. Gosh it's a netting thin material. In the end these are made to be somewhat disposable as all tack cloths are intended. But like my swifter dusters hey I take them out to a metal pole I have and beat them to release most of their dust and reuse. A tack cloth in nature is not made to release however which makes it so good at it's purpose to collect and hold any dust residue after you've sanded or scraped or scratched an area to be painted or finished. It's not like a dust cloth it's a dust collector if that makes sense and it might not. Anyway my opinion is I might give the launder it in a mesh laundry bag in detergent only and absolutely NO contact with fabric softeners left in a machines or liquids or drier sheets. That would ruin the properties of the cloth as would any residue of that sort. If you get any oily substance on it that could render it pretty useless for dusting an area for painting because it could cause fish eyes or bubbles or even failed painted areas over time. Use common sense with proper products and educate yourself on how to use them properly by reading INSTRUCTIONS that are provided and watching Youtube videos which are often very helpful.
