Good to know (no surprises) • Brightness control: The included 50W LED is punchy, but if you need fine exposure control you’ll adjust distance/ISO/shutter. (Some kits include dimmable bulbs; if yours doesn’t, an inline dimmer for LED bulbs is a cheap add-on.) • Size vs. softness: 16” is perfect for head-and-shoulders and tabletop. For full-body or wider shots, you’ll want the light closer—or a second softbox. • Stand weight: The stand is light and portable. It’s fine for indoor use, but don’t bump it; a small sandbag makes it rock solid. • Power only: It’s not battery-powered; you’ll need an outlet. Cable length was fine for me, but plan placement. It was very easy to set up which I like for audions, I can prop up and use and put away quickly. However, I didn't realize it is just ONE light setting. One very bright white setting which can be great for those looking for that but as a person sensitive to white lights and bright ones I could not use this, that is on me for assuming it had different light settings. Wish they carried an option with different light settings, would've been perfect !

Very easy to mount, well distributed items in a surprisingly small box for the product, strong lighting, comes with bags and packs to carry your kit around, if I would have any complain, maybe the stability of the tripod is not the best but I have a carpet floor so it’s logic and I can’t really tell how it would be on a normal compact floor, also the materials like the plastics feel kind of cheap, but honestly for the price you get exactly what you see on the pictures and description and a really good lighting quality for pretty much whatever your needs are. Also, I’ve seen people complaining about the bulb not fitting or not being the right size, at the very first moment I had the same issue, but then I realized it has a plastic covering the metal you have to unscrew first before installing the light, of course it won’t work if you don’t remove this plastic lid.

It's easy to set up, take down, and it doesn't use too much power. I use it with a powerbank and it in combination with a few other things uses maybe 10% or less in an hour. By that same virtue, it doesn't generate too much heat. I use these for product photos, and it's perfect for that. Good product, no issues.

This product is everything I needed for my photos to look so nice and bright. (I'm taking photos of small objects). I do believe you could also use this to photograph people. I also use it to see better when I am painting or crafting. It is so bright that the photos I take look great even in a dim or dark room. I'm not the best at following instructions and I consider that the instructions were clear, quick and easy to follow. Easy to assemble. It is also very lightweight to carry around. Quality is great considering the price.

Not sure what other people need ... but for me this was way too bright, and there is no ability to change the color of the light. For me this is too much and no flexibility. That said - the light and stand are of decent quality
