The greatest slow cooker of all time
I not only would give this five stars, but I would give this slow cooker 10 ❤️. Cooks beautifully and evenly. You can lift the pot out of the base. It’s wide, low shape makes easier stirring, browning, less digging around. Nonstick surface is easier cleanup and no charred food on the bottom. I’ve had a few different kind of crockpots in my life, but this is by far the superior choice.

Great multicooker
If you cook, buy this! I use it at least 2x a week. You can make a large roast, 5 pounds of spaghetti and so many other things. It is huge, is easy to use and has many functions! A must for every busy home!

Great Product By Ninja
If you're looking for a slow cooker, this is a great one. i been having this one over 3 years and never had a problem with it. Nice thick and strong pan, and it still looks and work like new. Nice size to fit on a shelf when not in use and to fit on your counter when you are ready to start cooking, and can heat up 500°F and has a timer so you can keep the food warm. You can cook on the base or put it in the oven to cook too. this can replace multiple cookwear in your kitchen. This is a great product by ninja

Ninja foodi crockpot
When the Ninja Foodi PossibleCooker PRO 8.5 (MC1001) arrived on my counter, it instantly replaced three other appliances. This isn't just an upgrade from a standard slow cooker—it’s a revolutionary piece of equipment that truly earns the "PRO" in its name. It manages to combine the best parts of a Dutch oven, a traditional crockpot, and a high-performance burner into one elegant, non-stick vessel. What makes this model a kitchen hero? First, the 8.5-quart capacity and rectangular shape. This is a game-changer for anyone who cooks large meals, roasts, or racks of ribs. Unlike round slow cookers that force everything into a pile, the elongated shape accommodates a full chicken or a large pork shoulder perfectly, ensuring even cooking and better browning. Second, the "PossibleCooker" function is the most significant selling point. I can finally sear and sauté ingredients right in the pot before hitting the slow-cook button. No more dirtying a separate pan to brown the onions or sear the beef short ribs! This step, which is crucial for deep flavor development, is now seamless and contained. I build the entire flavor base for my stews, braises, and chilies in one go, locking in those savory Maillard reaction flavors before the slow simmer begins. Finally, the pot itself is a dream. It’s significantly lighter than the stoneware crocks of old, making it much easier to lift, serve from, and clean. The non-stick coating is robust, and everything—from sticky caramelizing sugars to burnt cheese—wipes away effortlessly. If you have a busy family, meal prep, or just appreciate appliances that make high-quality cooking simpler, the Ninja Foodi PossibleCooker PRO 8.5 is an absolute must-have. It’s an investment in efficiency and delicious, one-pot meals.

The Cat's Pajamas
This might sound like exaggeration, but this is the easily the best appliance purchase I've ever made. Yes, it does 17,000 different things, but the three below are why it's something I can't do without: (1) It's the best crock pot I've ever owned because it's non-stick. I've re-warmed queso in it multiple times on vacation, left it on high/burned the queso, and it still just slides out of the pot. (2) Any meals (stews/chicken spaghetti/etc) that require braising/sautéing before making a "soup" inevitably dirty every pan in your kitchen. You need a pan, then a dutch oven, etc. But this thing lets you do it all in the same vessel, meaning you can make a stew with an actual 1-nonstick-pan cleanup. I own a certain fancy-french-brand dutch oven (and love it), but I frequently choose this just because of the cleanup convenience. (3) Here's the real star of the show: sous vide. (If you haven't tried sous vide, you're missing out.) But the thing about cooking sous vide is that the equipment (which I own) is bulky and in-the-way while it cooks. If you only want to do a couple of pork chops, it seems like too much hassle; but if you're cooking (eg) ribs for 12 hours (or God-forbid a 29-hour brisket), you have to deal with the equipment being on your counter for the whole cook time. But this little dog will sous-vide like a champ while in it's normal counter space. The capacity is more than you'd expect, too -- this week, I did two medium racks of ribs, and two point-cut briskets, in one cooking session each. I now use sous-vide constantly because of the convenience, and I only use my $200 sous-vide setup if I'm doing a whole brisket or cooking for a crowd. I've owned this for a year or so, and it's held up with almost daily use. But, as I told my wife: I'd rent this yearly for the sale price. It's the absolute cat's-pajamas. UPDATE: ok, so I have one small complaint—the timer won’t allow a time >12 hours. This isn’t a problem in most contexts, but it DOES mean that you have to set a reminder to “refresh” the timer in the middle of a longer cook (ie, sous-vide pulled-pork at ~19 hours). This is a small complaint, but I’d much appreciate a 24/hr timer if there’s a Gen 2.

Great slow cooker upgrade with a clean design - spoon holder could be better
I purchased this a few weeks ago to replace my older crockpot that just wasn’t cutting it anymore. So far, I’ve used it several times in slow cook mode, which was my main reason for buying it, and it’s been a solid upgrade it terms of quality and size. The unit is very easy to use, and I really like the sleek, modern design - it looks good enough to leave out on the counter. One of my favorite features is that the pot lifts out, which makes cleanup much easier compared to traditional crockpots. Performance-wise, slow cooking has been consistent and reliable. Everything I’ve made so far has cooked evenly, and I appreciate how straightforward the controls are. The only downside I’ve noticed so far is the spoon attachment on top of the lid. It’s a nice idea in theory, but the execution feels a bit awkward. I personally would’ve preferred a different design or no spoon holder at all. Overall, this is a great option for anyone looking to upgrade their crockpot or for someone who wants a multi-purpose appliance that can do more than one thing. I’m especially looking forward to trying the sear and sous vide functions next.

Get it, trust me...worth it.
I’ve been using the Ninja Crockpot, and it has quickly become one of the most versatile appliances in our kitchen. Yes, it’s more expensive than other slow cookers, but the added functionality makes the price worth it. This thing isn’t just a crockpot — it’s a crockpot on steroids. We use it weekly, and for completely different reasons each time. Whether it’s slow cooking, sautéing, or one of its many other features, it handles everything without any issues. It heats evenly, feels well‑built, and has held up great with regular use. If you’re looking for a simple, bare‑bones slow cooker, this might be more than you need. But if you want something that can do a whole lot more and do it well, this is a great choice.
