Best Purchase Under $100 in Years
What's the best thing you've purchased under $100? This is one of mine.I'm loving my home gym thanks to this landmine attachment. Super easy to use. Sure, not 100% as good as an actual landmine attachment, but I don't have the space or rack you would need for that anyway. I'm using it every day, and there is a fountain of exercises you can perform using a landmine attachment.I am now primarily doing landmine workouts over barbell workouts and working the entire body, and getting good results overall. Buy this and watch YouTube videos for new landmine exercises.Addressing slippage: yes, it does slide around somewhat, but I don't find that to really matter much. I slide it against my rack, or wedge it between dumbbells. You could also put it in the corner. I'm working out on some horse stall-type rubber matting in my garage.

Small, simple and durable.
I was looking for a small, mobile landmine base to use in our physical therapy clinic. I came across the Barbell Bomb, thought it was an interesting concept, and decided to try it out. I have not been disappointed with my purchase. The barbell bomb takes up minimal space, is very light, mobile and extremely simple to use. The dense foam is lighter than I thought it would be, but seems to be very durable; even with frequent use in our clinic, I've seen no signs of wear or break down in the foam. Initially I had concerns the bar end would create a hinge point or bend the foam, but it slides approximately 3/4 of the way into bulbus end. This prevents any bending or kinking in the foam, even when loading the bar. On most surfaces it grips firmly and doesn't slip, but I found on our commercial carpet, but when the bar is loaded up, it does slide a bit. As such, I just stick it in any corner where the floor meets the wall. The Barbell Bomb Bomb protects the carpet and wall from wear, preventing the end of the bar from digging in, and allows the bar to move freely in all directions. I wouldn't hesitate or order another.

Does work, but…
So I took a gamble and grabbed this for a home gym routine and to save my plates for other things. It works, but in reality it needs to have help to isolate the movement left to right… I use it coupled with dumbbells on either side and additional soft mats underneath to keep it stationary so the 4-stars. If you have a corner in the room, probably the best use case there. Other than that, it actually works fairly well. For really heavy workouts, probably not gonna gitter done IMHO. Hope this helps ya.

Not sure what this is 😳
Well, I’m 61 years old and I have no idea what this thing is or does all I know is I have something to do with lifting weights. I do my very best to try to avoid all types of exercise if I can. So hopefully he enjoyed it. It did look very sturdy and sewn with good quality. 🏋🏼 👍🏽✌🏽

Expands the limits of my home gym
We have a small "gym" (corner of our garage to be exact), and the space limits what equiptment we can have to accomplish our goals. This barbell bomb helps add several other workouts to repertoire, without taking up any additional space. If there was a negative it would be that it slides when my husband puts his weights on it, but for my purposes it is fantastic. Even with the sliding issue, my husband still enjoys using the barbell bomb.

10/10 would NOT recommend
Gimmick item. Thing was as slippery as grease. I have barn mats and this thing slides everywhere. My barbell worked better just on the mat without this. Maybe it would work in the corner better. Not for me.

Does exactly what you need it to do
This attachment has been super helpful so that I can do modified shoulder presses after an injury. It's solid enough that it feels stable, and works perfectly when I place the ball in a corner, or in the hole of a place. Fits snug on the bar but it's easy to take off and on.

I can’t recommend it 100% but 50% of you will like it.
This is well made, no issues with the aesthetics of the bomb. My friction point is, well, its LACK of friction on rubber stall mats. 5’10” 220 and I know what I’m doing and this slides on me in my garage and it’s worse the colder it gets inside my gym. I have 100# Slam Ball and I wedge it in there and that gets the job done. But it’s advertised as not needing that - so just be prepared to add an extra step. Not worth a return as it’s not terribly expensive compared to a $100+ Rogue Landmine.
