I am 78 years old. I have been taking in NAC and glycine for four months. They seem to be working for me. My skin is smoother and my mood is better. I also have more energy. I take 3 g of each. I saw where NACET was stronger and got to the brain and eyes better, so I switched to this product. It seems to help my eyes. I take one pill 30 minutes before breakfast and another at night 30 minutes before supper. I also, add a little glycine in one of my cups of coffee in the morning to sweeten it. Also, it doesn’t have the sulfur smell that regular NAC does. The first picture is a current view of my eye and skin. The second picture was taken 10 months earlier. My eye is now much brighter as you can see! I have no idea why I took the earlier picture. It is a happy coincidence! I thought I’d give an update after two years. This supplement has 600 mg of glycine. I don’t think that is enough glycine, so I use an extra scoop of glycine powder every day. I am still very happy with my skin and eyes. I noticed that my hair has regained some of its youthful brown tones. My beard still seems the same though. I have heard that gray hair is a nutrition effect for an older people. I can only guess that this supplement improves nutrition.

Good supplement to take.

This is a great product. I was taking 1800mg a day of regular NAC and one of my labs came back on the low side and low glutathione. I switched to this NACET and as you can see I’m above the reference range. I was taking this to assist with glutathione synthesis as I tend to be low due to a genetic polymorphism. I took three a day but will be cutting back to two a day and maybe 1 after I retest again. Supplement definitely works! My only only wish is that I wish they made a version without selenium and molybdenum. Some people already have this in their multivitamins or other supplements. If you’re the manufacturer, please consider make a mineral free version or better yet just a plain NACET supplement. It’s more effective for some people and better for tracking.

There are several signs that this is a fraudulent product. It lacks the sulfur smell of real NAC-ET. There is no GMP certification, nor any 3rd party testing, nor any COA. It is not made in the USA and it corporate office address is fake - it does not exist. There is no way to contact the company. Save your money and instead consider Nature's Fusions "Nutri Neuro-NAC" or "GlyNac-ET" (exact same product with different names for marketing purposes). It is made in the USA, 3rd party tested and they hold the US patent for NAC-ET.

This was my first time taking NACET so I didn't know what to expect. Had read that it has a distinctive sulphur smell but when I opened the bottle there was no smell at all. Aside from the molybdenum, glycine, and selenium there were no added ingredients, just the veggie capsule. When I finished the bottle I decided to order from another company and did so. The new bottle is from Nutriissa called Neuron-NAC. It has the same ingredients as the first brand but with magnesium stearate and silica as flow agents. Would rather they weren't included but this is not a deal breaker for me. I open the bottle and the smell of sulphur is pronounced. I emptied a capsule, wet the tip of my little finger slightly and touched it to the white powder on the paper plate. It had a bad but not overpowering taste. did the same experiment to the last cap of my original bottle and all I could taste was something very sweet, like sugar or a sugar substitute, but no bad smell or taste. This was not a scientifically solid experiment, but was enough to sway me into foregoing this brand and going with the Nutriissa brand from now on. So along with no sulphur smell or taste like every other brand claims to have, this brand does not. And I also did a map search of their address from the bottle and found it to be an empty field. Methinks something is not only rotten in Denmark but with this particular brand of NACET. So I am going with Nutriissa for now.
