You have to know the silicone cover is NOT part of the clock! Update as of 01/01/2020.
The clock is just as described in the description, about 3 inches in diameter. It has a large suction cup that covers the entire back side of the silicone cover. I think this is where a lot of people are having problems. I am a little ashamed to admit it, but when I got the clock, I too looked at it for a couple of minuted wondering how to put the battery in. I then called myself a couple of names and pulled the clock out of the protective silicone cover. The eggshell colored soft material is NOT the clock, it is the silicone cover. The clock is inside the silicone cover. You have to peel back the silicone cover a little, pull and push the clock out. You can then grip the rear 1/4 inch of the back with one hand and hold the front with the other. You have to turn the rear of the clock about a 1/4 inch, you may have to wriggle the front and back a little, but the turn is only a little bit. Once the back cover is off, install the battery is easy and replacing the cover and clock into the silicone cover is also easy. I had to come back to this review to get back off. It was not the fault of the clock. Apparently, the seal is tight, I had forgotten how to open it. It had to be tight to be waterproof for a bathroom clock. It is still working, keeping perfect time. I had not had to change the battery, I took the chance to do so, since I was already there. This clock is still working perfectly. Keeps perfect time, no problems with it at all. Would definitely recommend this clock.

WORKING FINE NOW --- after some initial problems
I bought this as a shower clock. (I do hot-cold showers in which I alternate a minute of two of hot with a minute or two of cold water; I need to time how long I spend in each temperature, so bought a water-resistant clock).I initially had some problems:1) IT FELL OFF THE SHOWER WALL. (I stuck it up in my shower on a piece of clean, dry ceramic tile. It fell off a couple of hours later.) (Then I tried again... the second time, it stuck fine, and has stayed on the tile for over a month with no problems. I don't know why it fell the first time.)2) WATER GOT INSIDE OF IT. It's water-resistant, so you'd think it would stay dry inside if used in the shower. But it doesn't. It can actually collect water inside. I discovered this originally when I removed the rubber outer casement to change the batteries, and found a little pool of water inside. I dried it out, swapped out the batteries, then checked it again a couple of weeks later... again, there was water in there. I don't know what causes this - leaking? condensation? - but either way, it's obviously problematic for an electrical appliance.3) IT STOPPED RUNNING. I noticed this about a month after getting it. The clock would literally stop. (The second hand would stop circling). (I noticed this because it was more than two hours off, at one point!) I'd tap it and it would start again. Very odd!4) BUT IT'S RUNNING FINE NOW. When it stopped working, I took it down, took the plastic cover off, changed the batteries, dried out the water which had collected inside, and put in new batteries. It's been working fine ever since. It has kept perfect time now for over a month (after totally stopping, the first time I used it.)5) IN SUM -- What to think? I'm honestly not sure. All the problems I describe above were real, but it's been working well now for several weeks. I would just say, if you buy it, keep an eye on it and be aware that those sorts of problems can sometimes occur.

Large, accurate and visible!
This is exactly as described. The suction cup holds well on tile, and the clock face is easily visible across the room. It seems to be accurate!

Not as advertised
This clock does not stick to the shower wall or anything. I had to glue it to the shower wall. Not worth it.

A decent bathroom clock with somewhat hard to read hands.
A good clock for your bathroom, especially for the price. Pretty easy to install the batteries, although the instructions don't make it very clear that you have to remove the clock from the rubber housing to get to the battery door in the back. I like the simplicity of it. I didn't need any other features or functions so this serves its purpose well.My one gripe with this is the silver hands which can be hard to read from certain angles. I wish they were black.

Poor quality.
It’s exactly what I was looking for to help my daughter keep track of her time in the shower, but it’s been less than a week and already the paper backer is curling at the top. Doesn’t seem to be sealed well enough to handle the humidity.

Great
Came on time and in great condition. Perfect size for the shower. Water proof. Great to see the time as I am rushing to work.

Shower clock
It was a bit smaller than I thought it would be, however it works well.
