Cheap and works a treat!
I recently started fitting a set of mini (incandescent) indicators but after fitting the rears, I found that the indicators then flashed really quickly. If I plugged in the fronts as well, they would cease to even light. These were not LED's, just 4W mini bulbs. A quick Google said that an adjustable flasher relay was the answer, another said I need a 2-pin one, so I arrived at this, the cheapest one. It wasn't a direct swap for my Kawasaki Vulcan flasher relay as the blades were different, but I just had to knock up a couple of wires and crimped female connectors to get it working. On my first try they worked and flashed at a good rate. I then fitted the fronts too, adjusted the flash rate and it just works. What more can I say? Definitely recommended for low wattage / LED indicators.

Works great
Works great for led indicators might get a little bit faster over time so may need to slow down rate slightly after some time but worked great and was easy to swap over from standard

Works great
Theres a few of these 'relays' on Amazon and this ones the cheapest. I was hesitant to buy it therefore however I'm happy to report that it works great. I have two types of indicators on my motorcycle. The rear ones have a sweeping effect whilst the front ones just flash. I was able to set the speed on this relay so that the pulse is long enough for both types of indicators. It's very lightweight as there isn't much going on inside of these. Make sure to mount it somewhere there isn't water as the reason I needed a new one is that my old one corroded up the legs and ruined the inside of the relay which blew up a bunch of fuses (so fun). Hopefully, this won't happen with this one however I'm just glad it works.

SS Flasher unit - Motorcycle
Fitted after market indicators with standard bulbs and they refused to flash. TBH the old ones flashed slow and looked awful. So ordered this lovely little orange 12v flasher unit which appeared the right wattage, was adjustable rate and did LED should I ever need them. Amazingly itโs also solid state. Which means they outlast mechanical types 100X. Fitted straight on existing connector and even had a tag to locate over original metal prong. Clicked them on and away they went at regulation 80 flash per min. (60 to 120 UK). Top purchase for less than a half pint of beer. Impressed.

Excellent, saves on messing about with resistors
Brilliant. Saved a lot of time messing about with resistors and you tune them to your own flash speed but mine was already set perfectly ๐

Ok for the money
It works and does what itโs meant to do, the cover could be a bit of a better fit as itโs a bit loose and easily comes off if knocked

Indicator relay works on old Classic bikes
Fitted LED bulbs to my indicators and realised a 45 year old relay does not work! Ordered this solid state relay and fitted to my Kawasaki Z1000A1. It work immediately! Just need to make sure the polarity for the two wires is correct, you can tell straight away if itโs wrong as the lights will not flash. Great purchase

Good value for money.
Used in a Yamaha Fazer 1000, plug and play no problem, new led indicators now legally flashing at correct speed.
