PKP 11" Watermelon Knife Japanese Carbon Steel Metal Serrated Blade w/ Sheath

Too soft and springy to even cut straight through a watermelon without sawing through it. Feels dangerous to even use it feels like it will bounce or snap in half!

The blade is a good length for being able to slice through the melon. However, it does not seem as sturdy as I would have expected.

My family eats 2-3 watermelons a week and this knife makes it easier for my 5'1" frame to cut through those large round seedless melons without any effort. It's a great buy - you will not regret spending less than $10 on it.

the blade fell off after 2 months

Doesn't cut as well as I thought, gets stuck in the middle of a large watermelon, but it does the job.

Works great for different types of watermelon. I like that it came with a shield!

We manned a watermelon booth over 4th of July weekend. Wanted to slice as we went so we didn't waste melon. The included sheath made it safe to transport. The longer blade really helped as we prepared nearly 20 melons in two hours. Metal blade did not feel flimsy. I would recommend this if you're going to be slicing up on the go and don't want to bring along your expensive chef's knife.
