Supreme Cream Triple Cushion Shave Lather, Mens Shaving Cream

I got this shaving cream after reading the Wirecutter review, and it exceeds all my expectations. I have very sensitive, easily nicked skin, and I’ve tried a lot of different shaving creams and soaps and gels and foams over the years, and this is by far the best. A little bit goes a long way, it has the thickest and smoothest lather I’ve ever seen, and it has a very pleasant but not overwhelming scent. It makes shaving not just easier but… unexpectedly enjoyable? Yes, it may cost more per ounce than your average shaving cream, but it’s so good that I simply do not care. I mean, I rarely write product reviews, but I’m writing this after midnight on a Saturday because I was just thinking about how much I’m looking forward to shaving tomorrow. Good job, Jack Black.

Light and makes a good foam. Smooth, irritant-free shave that rinses clean. Doesn't clog the sink. Doesn't leave residue on the skin while keeping skin soft and moisturized after drying. Light fragrance.

I am a woman with sensitive skin. Many shaving products cause razor burn or other irritation on my skin. This product does not. (However, I will say that the beard lube from this same brand did cause irritation on my skin.) The scent is extremely light and fresh, which I appreciate. This cream is rich and lubricating, providing a protective layer that protects my skin from my razor. It is not so thick that it clogs or dulls my razor or makes it difficult to rinse off after shaving. Also, a little goes a long way with this product. I can shave my entire leg with about a nickel sized dollop of this stuff. One tube lasts about 4 months for me with nearly everyday use. And I use it everywhere— arms, underarms, legs, bikini area. Previously, I used unscented Coochi, which I liked okay because it gave me a really smooth shave but I ended up using a lot of product every shave, so it did not last. Also, I wanted a thicker, more lubricating cream for my sensitive skin. I love it so much that it has become a staple in my bathroom, and I will not buy anything else.

Mainly use this for shaving my head. Get texture and reduces the need to go over areas. No major issues with razor bumps from using this. It is pricey, but if quality is important to you then there is nothing else to worry about.

I've been using a safety razor and brush since I began shaving. I mainly decided on doing so based on my irritation with traditional multi blade razors. I have used art of shaving as well as more standard creams. This is the best of them all so far. The cream has a great consistency and lathers really well. It really protects the skin when shaving. The real winning aspect to me is how well it protects. For those looking for a description of consistency by comparison: certainly thicker than everyday creams but a little airier than art of shaving. The razor really seemed to get a great close shave with no irritation or fear of cuts. I have found my new cream. I tend to do a down stroke followed by an upstroke, so I was pleasantly surprised at how the little cream I used was enough for two passes, so for those curious on the value end, I would say it is certainly a good value.

So I like to get the negatives out of the way first. This stuff sticks to your face. Or wherever else you use it I presume, I only shave my face though. It really stays there. Which might be why it keeps me from getting cuts and ingrown hairs. It really protects your skin to the point where it sometimes feels over protective. Like a helicopter parent or jealous partner. It takes way longer to rinse off my blade when shaving as well as rinsing off my face because it is so gum-like. I traded skin injury (skinjuries?) for extended shave times. Usually a little more than 20 min to shave now. This is ok when I have time to shave at my leisure but I hate shaving and only do it for work because I have to and for making sure my woman doesn't look like a bear mauled her neck when I love up on her (apparently my facial hair is scratchy). Thanks to Covid I have to shave way more frequently to wear face masks properly at work so this extended shave time is incredibly annoying. The positives I mentioned a bit already I guess, but let me expand a little. Way less mini shave cuts and razor burn for me. I mean they are almost non existent. Fyi, I use a safety razor because I get ingrown hairs with those multi blade razors. The safety razors made ingrowns a thing of the past but then I started getting mini cuts; which are a decent trade off since they heal way faster. So yeah the positives outweigh the negative overall. And when I'm done shaving my skin is softer and smoother than it was when I used other products. In conclusion, your skin should feel more pampered than standard shave cream but ready a podcast or audiobook while you shave, you're gonna be in there a while.

Jack Black never disappoints. As a bald man, this product has been my go to lather for a daily head and face shaves. Zero irritation and leaves a clean oil free feel. Surprisingly hydrating. The smaller bottle is great for travel. The seller was even kind enough to throw a few free samples of other Jack Black products in the box. Will be ordering again soon.
