This is one solid piece of hardware! The locking mechanism is great with both keys working flawlessly. There is a lot of oil/ protectant on this originally so I would probably recommend re-greasing it to keep it up to maintain it. The only thing that kills me is that I will not fit into the space where the factory installed hitch is for my 2020 Chevy SUV. The bolt fits perfectly, the large locking head will fit and lock but there is no space for a key to fit to unlock it as the wiring harness is in the way. It won't fit going in the opposite direction either, with the lock to the right as I cannot insert the pin due to the afore mentioned wiring harness.

I've owned several Locking Hitch Pins over the years, this is the best one I've owned. The finish is beautiful and durable, the lock portion has a very positive and secure feel (unlike others I've had that felt kind of "sketchy" when locking or were difficult to unlock) and the rubber cover for the lock is actually substantial, seals well, and stays in place. Definitely recommended!

It works like the perfectly engineered mechanism that it is; very smooth locking cylinder function and tight fit when closed. Personally, I prefer the black surface because it "blends in" and doesn't visually distract from the triple-chrome-plated horned (miniature) bull skull that I have in place as a hitch cover on my snow white Hummer H3. Stunning indeed!

This is as good looking as the picture. What I really like is the fact that the locking mechanism feels much more robust than I'd hoped. It's only been on the truck a few days, so only time will tell, but based on my first impression this was a great purchase.

There is no lifetime warranty. When I go to the website to register, the company no longer exists. Otherwise, it looks solid. Keyhole cover is a nice feature. I bought this to lock my new hitch to my receiver. Someone at my workplace decided they deserved to own my hitch more than I did. Never had to buy a hitch lock before. Now I do. I chose this one because it looked very well made. I expect that I will have no issues with it. The company (Vault Cargo) was so confident in it that they have it a lifetime warranty, but like I said, it looks like they have gone out of business. I still give it a 4.

Great fit on my toyota and easy to take on and off- do not use daily but seems well made make sure you register for warranty but I was impressed with the design and how well they are made.

Great locking pin. Happy that it works with my Toyota Tundra. It needed the extra length above 3” to span across the stock receiver. Be careful if you buy another brand!

This is one of those items you have no idea you need until some jackhole comes along and steals your tow hitch cover while you’re parked at Home Depot. Low lifes like that make items like this one of those “aha! THAT’s exactly what I need” finds. It’s perfect. Low profile, sleek and won’t visually detract from whatever hitch bling you’ve got going on. And it’s secure. Take THAT, dirtbag jackhole hitch thieves! I bought one for both of our trucks and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend.
