Pretty picture and a nice size for beginners and travelers

I purchased this as way a to get back to needlepoint. It's small and not intimidating. Excellent instructions are included.

I like this kit. Clear instructions and the colors on the canvas are very easy to follow. Only one issue. There was no needle!!! Luckily I had one.

I am new to needlepoint and purchased this to practice & learn. The stamped design was crooked on the canvas, comes with horrible, inexpensive acrylic yarn. The directions state use a half- cross stitch. I switched out the yarn for cotton embroidery floss and used a continental stitch throughout. I extended the top and sides to make a crossbody bag that can hold my phone and sunglasses.

I was excited to get started but that ended quickly. I can’t believe how many great reviews this has because it is not great. The thread/yarn that it came with is awful. These pre-cut pieces of garbage snag on the canvas just pulling it up and through. Due to the thread shredding, I won’t be able to even complete this stupid thing now because I am all out of the light blue for the sky/background, so now I feel like I’ve wasted both my time and my money. In addition to the terrible thread, the picture was printed at an angle on the canvas. You can see in my pictures towards the bottom the background starts cutting into the white space on the left and then where it should be white on the right side there is blue. The instructions were the only decent thing about this kit. Don’t recommend. Don’t waste your time and money

I love tapestry and butterflies so this will be fun to do and make a lovely picture when framed
