Replacement for Brother DK-2205 (8 Rolls, 800 Ft Total) 2.4" Continuous Direct Thermal Labels Cut-to-Length Paper Tape - Compatible with QL Printers, QL-800, QL-810W, QL-820NWB

These compatible label replacements are a great value and work well with my printer. However, assembling the holder can be tricky, and I’ve made mistakes a couple of times. If the label isn’t placed perfectly straight in the printer, it tends to print out distorted or stretched, likely due to the feet not engaging correctly with the bottom pins. I think is more of a problem with these labels than the OEM Brother ones because the plastic holder is a bit less forgiving and this box only gives you one so you have to reuse it, taking it apart and putting it back together over and over again. Despite these minor issues, I’ve purchased this pack multiple times and plan to continue doing so because the price is unbeatable.

Some label stock I bought years ago started performing very poorly. I don't print many labels so I had some pretty old stock and it was printing a mottled grey instead of black. This stock prints perfectly and sticks well. Won't know if it fails the same way for 5+ years but fingers crossed.

We were reluctant to try these because of some of the reviews. However, we did, and I'm extremely glad we did. My wife runs a small Boutique and receives clothing daily, so we print a lot of labels. It cost us a fortune using OEM labels. We tried these and have zero complaints. The Brother printer is attached to our Clover POS and has not given us any issues. The labels stick securely to our clothing tags, and it is easy to change out in the printer. The cost per roll is about one quarter of the OEM roll, to make money you must be frugal and find the best products at the lowest price. This product fits the bill!!!!!

The tape is a hugely better deal than I have bought before, but it does not work with the QL-570 printer unless you drill some holes. Holes, you ask ? A plastic bracket holds the tape in the printer. The old roll of name-brand tape had a non-removable bracket. Luckily, I saved it. There are some small holes on the bottom of the bracket that apparently informs the printer what kind of tape is installed. The holes in the new bracket do not match the holes in the original bracket, so the printer reports it is out of paper when the new bracket and roll are installed. Bummer ! But I, being an EE, saw the holes in the bracket, and little fingers that detect the holes. I drilled holes in the new bracket to match the holes in the old bracket, and now it works.

These labels are used at a church in label printers for check-in at children and youth ministry events. Never had any issues with the labels and they adhere well to clothing.

My company has 5 of the Brother label printers. Only 2 of them are the same model and these have worked perfectly in all of them. The black part (that holds the labels) is the important part. It has little nibs that slot into the printer (which is what tells the printer the size and if they are valid). . So you just pop out the OEM and add a roll onto it's holder and pop it in. The printer recognizes it and you're good to go.

If I could give these labels a zero I would. They fit my brother printer well, but scanner cannot read anything on these labels. I never have problems with Betcky labels. Will stick with those. Never buy these.
