I bought my Amazfit Band 7 in 2025, and after spending time with it, I’m really impressed with how much this little watch does for the price. It’s lightweight and comfortable, the screen is easy to read, and the battery life is excellent. I recently changed the original band to a metal one and adjusted the links myself, and now I enjoy wearing it even more. It looks much more like a piece of jewelry while still giving me the fitness and everyday features I want. The Band 7 has turned out to be a great little fitness tracker, especially considering how affordable it is. You don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars to get something useful, attractive, and comfortable. Definitely a purchase I’m glad I made. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I've been using the Amazfit Band 7 for a week, and I'm impressed with its battery life. I was at 40% after 7 days, and it took about an hour to charge from 40% to 100%. I have many options turned on that drain battery, such as always tracking heart rate. One hour a week to get back to 100% doesn't seem unreasonable. I was initially discouraged by its accuracy on my first workout. At parts of my workout when I knew my heart rate was over 150, it was reporting 137. However, my second workout (exactly like the first) was amazing. It was completely accurate, every time I checked and compared to the machine. I'm not sure what learning it did between the first and second workouts, but it was spot on. The only thing I can complain about is the lack of a web interface for the app. I'm now using a combination of MyFitnessPal for food tracking, GoogleFit to get BMI info from a scale, and the Zepp App for health tracking. All of these apps are connected through the Health Connect app. Once set up, the communication between the apps works without a hitch. For me, the additional options and functionality of the Amazfit Band 7 vs the Fitbit Charge 3 are so worth a little bit of finicky app setup. I'm not taking a star off for this because it is my choice of usage. I use the tracker and food log for accountability between calorie burn and calorie intake. Others might not have that requirement. I've attached a long screenshot of a workout report. I can't really speak to sleep tracking other than it seems more accurate than the FitBit Charge 3. I have no way to confirm. The Charge 3 seemed to track every time I rolled over at night as 'awake'. This one does not. The total length asleep seems accurate. I decided to ditch Fitbit after my Charge 3 display got completely non-functional after 2 years. I was skeptical of the Amazfit Band 7 at first, but I'm glad I gave it a try, especially given it was well over half the price of the Fitbit Charge 5 (Prime Day discounting). I did purchase the 5.99 warranty and hope to go 3 years before having a non-functioning tracker again. Overall, I'm very happy with the Amazfit Band 7. It's a great fitness tracker with good battery life, a nice display, accurate heart rate tracking, and a variety of features. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new fitness tracker.

Functionality: 5/5 Screen size: 5/5 Comfort: 5/5 Sleep tracking: 5/5 App on IPhone: 5/5 Customizable: 4/5 Fit: 3/5 PRO: I won’t mention all the positive things because there are too many. I’ve owned a Fitbit, Samsung Watch, and an Apple Watch. This does exactly what I need without all the extras. I just wanted a step counter that tells time and calculates my burned calories. No Bluetooth calling, no constant notifications. Lasts weeks without charging. Waterproof for normal use (pool, washing hands, etc). CON: I couldn’t figure out how to save custom watch faces to the watch itself. Sometimes while in the shower the face changes to one of the default faces, and I have to go back on the phone app to switch to the custom face I want rather than just having it saved on the watch. The biggest CON is the locking button on the strap SUCKS. It has fallen off many many times. It’s fallen off during volleyball, during strength training, and the last time… while I was floating in the river. If you get this, plan to buy an aftermarket band with better clasps.

Honestly would not recommend this watch at all. First, the heart rate monitor and sleep monitor are very inaccurate. I compared the heart rate measurement several times during various levels of rest or exercise with the readings from my blood pressure arm cuff. While I was expecting some inaccuracies maybe plus or minus a few bpm the watch would report 90 bpm when my blood pressure device read 130 bpm and when my blood pressure cuff read 90 this would often read anywhere from 70 to 140. Sometimes tapping the measure button would read 130 and then 2 seconds later read 80. Second, the device has a feature where if you press and hold the screen you can quickly change the watch face. This is extremely annoying as the screen is extremely sensitive and I found if my coat sleeve slid forward it would trigger it, or if I crossed my arms it would trigger it, or just resting my arms in my lap would trigger it. There is no way to disable this feature and with how sensitive the screen is to any kind of touch from anything it gets very frustrating very quickly. Finally, most of these issues could still be overlooked to an extent but after having it for only about four months the screen popped out on me and was dangling by the ribbon cable connecting it to the circuit board. I carefully set the screen back in place and glued it back in using a compound that would seal it from moisture so it wouldn't get damaged further but that didn't last long. I glued it once more with some heavy duty glue but that also failed after about a month. The third time it popped out and I glued it back in the screen had solid white vertical lines so I popped the screen out and discovered parts of the wiring on the ribbon cable had cracked due to the screen hanging freely by it. Now, with no functional screen whatsoever I am unable to turn the device off at all since there is no physical way to turn it off without using the screen. Thankfully I was at least able to turn my alarms off through the Zepp app so it would stop buzzing when sitting on my desk. Overall, this thing is cheap garbage and I wouldn't waste a penny on it. Only reason I give it 1 star is you can't give it 0 and my mom likes it cause she has metal allergies and this is the first fitness tracker she's found that does not have any metal against the skin.

I thought I'd try this out after my fitbit charge 5 quit working after 6 months and they wouldn't honor the warranty on it. I have to say that I see no difference in functionality or the app than what my charge 5 had. This has everything I need for a lot less cost. If this lasts longer than 6 months I'd say its great, but I'm hoping it'll go a couple years. The app is actually really great and I like that I can easily change the watch face with lots options. I bought an off brand band for it since I don't like plastic bands and its very comfortable. I love how long the charging lasts on it. I do not want to charge everyday and this is about once per week. I turned on the blood oxygen reading and it warned me that the charge might not last as long but it really didn't seem to affect it. The accuracy of all my tracking looks the same as the readings I was getting on the fitbit when I compare hear rate, blood oxygen, etc. I'm glad I gave it try. Very nice tracker for the cost! I recommend. I will update if I encounter any issues. 6/28/24 Its still working and the charging still lasts quite a long time. The only thing I'm noticing lately is that it will log naps during the day. I work an office job and I'm not sleeping at work. I'm wondering if my heartrate is dropping really low. I know from when I had my fitbit my resting heartrate would be in the 60's when I was relaxed. That's only thing i can think of. I'm sitting for long periods but I'm typing and mousing so you'd think it'd register that I am moving. Just not sure what all it uses to determine that you're asleep.

UPDATE: 4.5 stars imo: After I went to the Amazfit warranty area from this Amazon page instead of their corporate website they responded. Although the issue is not something coverer on warranty they did address it and decide as an exception to send me a new band. I think I will order a different style of band to hold the watch but after this I have to increase my review to 5 stars. I would do 4.5 but it's not an option. The after service was very good and I was happy with the accuracy of the band compared to my versa (I had been using both to compare when the Amazfit cracked, They even sent me postage to return the broken watch and band to them. They kept me up to date on all I needed to do and even sent a reminder when I had not initiated the return after 2 days to remind me. The cycling and walking accuracy when set to workout were almost identical to both my fitbit Versa and Strava's algorithm. I was able to upload TCX or GPX files to strava (i prefer to upload the file than link to it) and had no technical issues. It records the same sleep times and on average similar scores to fitbit but gives me more sleep time in the same hours. I always felt Fitbit shorted my sleep due to me moving a lot(I don't wake up but my arms move and it counts me as awake when I'm not). So over all I'm very pleased with this, especially for the cost of the product. It has compared well on resting heart rate, actual heart rate and I like the app where I can view the data is used such as a history of my Oxygen saturation each time it was recorded and heart rate. It is a good product technically as I mentioned earlier but the band style does come off easy if you are near something that it will catch on. This is where I would take .5 star if I could. ORIGINAL REVIEW BEFORE REPLACEMENT: I've only ordered this on April 26 so had it less than a week and a half and today the screen cracked while I was out gardening. I have my fitbit on still to compare them for accuracy which I had over two years (and several prior to this) and have scratched a screen in past but this one cracked right through. I was trimming brush and don't think I banged it or did anything too hard that it shouldn't have survived as a watch meant to be used when working out and active. I expect a fitness (active watch) to hold up much better than this. I can't find any warranty info or where to send to so guess I'm stuck with a cracked screen that will not be water proof now. I don't abuse my items, photo of this watch with crack and my fitbit, both were on while I gardened today, not sure what might have hit the screen to crack it but I see the fitbit survived fine and is several years old now and I don't see any bruises on me from anything hitting me. Fitbit does cost more ) guess you get what you pay for. I don't like the new updates to fitbit so looking for something to replace it. The zepp app did seem nice but quality of the watch is seriously lacking if it cracks like this from something minor.

This band is great, does everything it says, INCLUDING runtime, although i have recharged it at 13 days just to be sure. Not a fan of the included wristband and alternates are few but out there. these are not just straps but the tracker is a module that fits into the band. Still a 5 though, others might not have issue with included band. for me the buckle hole seems to large and is allowing it to come undone. holding it together with breadtie until new band arrives

Bought this after my Apple Watch died, figuring I'd give a budget watch a shot. There are absolutely some shortcomings this watch has compared to an Apple Watch, but it does some things well. Pros: This watch does simple things well. If you want a simple pedometer that alerts you to your text messages, then this is for you. Personally, I use it for step tracking and timing out rests between sets while lifting. The watch gets this done just fine. Battery life is truly nuts. I firmly believe in its advertised battery life of 13 days. The watch feels generally nice on my wrist. It's not too snug, or not too loose. However... Cons The watchband is a pain in the neck to put on. You get used to it after a few tries, but you can NEVER get the watch as tight as you want. However, the "tightest" I can get it is suitable. The watchband hasn't fallen off of me as much as it seems to have done with others, but it has happened to me. It's a pain, but not common. The app you download to customize the watch, Zepp, is terrible. There's severe input lag, and it took ten minutes to download a 25 MB watch update. The watch's firmware is buggy. I couldn't change my watch face as the app was stuck "updating", even though my watch indicated that it was up-to-date. I had to unpair my watch and reconnect it to my phone to update my watch face. The heart rate monitor is selectively awful. While sedentary, it works totally fine. Measures my resting heart rate alright. However, during lifting and cardio, it is not even in the neighborhood of my actual heart rate. 30 minutes into all four cardio sessions I've tried to track with this watch, it displayed my BPM as 70. My actual BPM was 160 - 90 beats off! I'm not sure if my watch is a lemon, or if there is something off with Amazfit's biometrics. So if you don't have high expectations and just need a decent lil' smartwatch, this watch is totally fine. But if you work out consistently and biometrics are crucial for your training, then stay far away.

Nice watch and functionalities, app a bit hard to read and metrics not always 100% accurate but enough to avoid other brands with subscriptions

I was a little sceptical about buying this after using Fitbits for years. Still I decided to try it since I'd had trouble with Fitbits not lasting very long on recent models. Have to say it's pretty awesome for the price. I was expecting poor quality in the watch or the supporting app. However I'd say the quality is at least as good as Fitbit models that cost twice the price. The Zepp app that it works with is actually better than Fitbits in my opinion and syncs data online in the same way. It's not perfect, the style of band which clips using little studs has a tendency to come loose occasionally. I've seen reports of people having it drop off their wrist many times over a week. However for me it's only happened once in the last three weeks. I will probably buy a better band at some point. The USB charge cable does feel a little cheap, but works well enough. The screen is really excellent though and while it's not high end it's got plenty of Bang for the buck in terms of features.

It works really well and is good lookin’ too. Who needs a Fitbit when there is this little beauty?! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
