BEAUMONT BASICS Flavors Food Topper for Dogs, Peanut Butter Recipe, 3.1-Ounce

I'm writing this because it might help other dog owners with a similar problem. My German Shepherd is on an RX diet/hydrolyzed protein (for either IBD or a food allergy). 24 hours after starting the RX the symptoms stopped- that's the good news, but she hates the food. (And this is a dog who before this was not a picky eater). Looking for something to disguise the taste I added some real peanut butter but I was afraid peanut butter had too much fat. Fast forward to two days ago: I found this product. So far so good. I shake it on the damp RX kibble and it now smells like peanuts. That's because the ingredients are mostly peanuts . If you have a similar problem with your pet, try it.

I absolutely love this for my puppers! They both love peanut butter and this is such a nice treat on top of their dog food. LOVE this product.🐶♥️

If you know your dog has a sensitive stomach, it's a risky buy. It will likely affect hem and cause them to poop excessively and with diarrhea. It definitely made the food taste better though-- they dug right in and ate every last bite!! Smells like peanut butter, and looks pretty legit. Sprinkles well onto food. I took away a star because it does suck that they don't warn not to buy if dog is sensitive, but oh well 🤷‍♀️

My 10 year old Malamute is not a particularly picky eater -- he is just a slow starter Presented with a dish of his usual kibble, enhanced with several small dog treats, with a bit of liver in the center -- all of which he likes -- at a time when I KNOW he is hungry, he will lie down near his dish and go to sleep unless I can bait and coax him to stand up, put his nose in his dish, and try it. These food toppers, especially the Peanut Butter Recipe, help considerably getting him started on his meal and make it more likely that he will keep on chomping it down until he empties his dish.

My dogs love this stuff. I have an older dog with medical conditions who doesn’t always want to eat. This topper must be yummy because she now has interest in her food again.

I was excited to use this because my dog has been kind of not wanting to eat his dry food. When I got it, it was unsealed. The stuff inside clearly all clumped up because it's been opened. Then I learned that you cannot return this nor can you get a replacement. Do not buy, not worth it.

My dog was being picky about his food (he is historically picky about everything) and he LOVES this stuff! I also love that the ingredients are limited with his allergies. I only use a little sprinkle and shake it around his dry food and it’s lasted a long time.
